I’ve been reading the books of the science fiction writer Kalayna (Ka-[name]LAY[/name]-na) [name]Price[/name]. I think her name has a beautiful and mystic sound to it but I haven’t been able to find any information on it’s origin’s anywhere. Help anyone?
Try looking for [name]Kalena[/name] instead. Kalayna is a modern invented spelling, rhats probably why your having a hard time. I would look for you but Im on my phone, Im sorry.
Kalayna looks like a modern spelling, but [name]Kalena[/name] is a Hawaiian form of [name]Karen[/name] which means “pure”, and [name]Kalina[/name] is a Bulgarian name which means “rowan tree.” I suspect Kalayna is probably a take-off of one of those names.
