What ELSE can Teddy be a NN for?

Specifically for boys names.

I’ve searched everything I can think of. I’m aware of traditional like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and bear related like [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Orson[/name_m], [name_m]Torben[/name_m] ect…

Hoping some expert berry has the perfect name I just haven’t thought of yet

My top pick with be Tobias, but pretty much any name that starts with a T would fit.

thaddeus maybe?

Maybe…

[name_m]Tancred[/name_m]
[name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m]
[name_m]Endymion[/name_m] (via [name_m]Eddy[/name_m] → Teddy)
[name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]
[name_m]Tennyson[/name_m]
[name_m]Terrence[/name_m]
[name_m]Theoden[/name_m]
[name_m]Tilden[/name_m]
[name_m]Townsend[/name_m]
[name_m]Timberland[/name_m]
[name_m]Tydecho[/name_m]
[name_m]Eddison[/name_m]
[name_m]Elwood[/name_m] (E-d - [name_m]Eddy[/name_m] - Teddy)

I appreciate some of these are a bit stretchy

Some of these names are pretty cool but maybe not so wearable

Thanks for the ideas, there’s so many more than the basics!

[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Tyler[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Tate[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]

[name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Timothy[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Tristan[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Travis[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_m]Troy[/name_m] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]

[name_f]Taylor[/name_f] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_m]Tucker[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_m]Tanner[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]

I also wanted to mention that [name_m]Ted[/name_m] could work as a nickname for a T first name and D middle!

I’ve always liked Theoren and knew a little boy by that name. it was definitely wearable, he didn’t go by a nn but I think [name_m]Teddy[/name_m] definitely works there

[name_m]Edward[/name_m], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] come to mind so maybe just in general names that can be shortened to [name_m]Eddy[/name_m] can become Teddies?

I am thinking of some surnames that could be used as first names:

[name_m]Tennison[/name_m]
[name_m]Teodoro[/name_m]
Tenant
[name_m]Templeton[/name_m]
Telford
Tetlow
Tedder
Teller
Tessier
[name_m]Tennessee[/name_m]

Another one I thought of: Tedrow

[name_m]Teddy[/name_m] is the nickname for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] or [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. However I also know a [name_m]Truman[/name_m] that goes by [name_m]Teddy[/name_m], as his father had.

Any of the [name_m]Ed[/name_m] names-- [name_m]Edward[/name_m], [name_m]Edgar[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Edwin[/name_m], [name_m]Edison[/name_m].

Maybe [name_m]Everard[/name_m] if that’s not too out there?

[name_m]Tancred[/name_m]. It’s a name of [name_m]German[/name_m] origin, meaning “thoughtful counsel.”

my grandfather was [name_m]Edward[/name_m] nn [name_m]Ted[/name_m]
