I’m looking for a second middle name. I think [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] is going to stay. DH loves anything Spartan and [name]Lysander[/name] was a Spartan commander, so he’s really in love with the name and I think it flows well.
I want something kind of short because [name]Josiah[/name] and [name]Lysander[/name] each have 3 syllables, but I don’t want a 1 syllable name to fit there because our last name is 1 syllable and I don’t think it will flow.
I really like [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name]- I don’t think a second middle name is necessary! However, if you want one, here are a few ideas:
Only one of our kids have two middle names. Only people that have questioned it were the grandparents since two middle names is “weird” to them and they were worried about the other kids feeling left out. So far, so good, the older 2 are 10 and 8 now and never complain that [name]Linus[/name] has two and they only have one.
I also like [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] [name]Lucas[/name]. DH’s middle name is [name]Lucas[/name], which is his mother’s maiden name.
Suggested favorites so far…
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] [name]Theo[/name] J.
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] [name]Lucas[/name] J.
But [name]Leigh[/name] is also one syllable name right? I thought off [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] [name]Rhys[/name] or [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] [name]Reece[/name] when I first saw the combo.
From your suggested favorites I like [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] [name]Lucas[/name] the best!
Yeah, [name]Leigh[/name] is just 1 syllable, but it flows okay to me. [name]Leigh[/name] [name]Jones[/name] works, but I don’t think [name]Rhys[/name] [name]Jones[/name] does. I like [name]Rhys[/name], but it doesn’t flow, [name]IMO[/name]. I haven’t found a single 1 syllable boy name that I think flows well with [name]Jones[/name]. Lol.
