What goes with mn Brian or Norman?

DH is named [name]Brian[/name]. We are team green and I have been thinking about using his name as a middle name if LO is a boy. I am having a
hard time finding names that sound good with it though and thought I would see what you all come up with for me since you all are
the baby naming gurus. We like traditional, old fashioned boys name, nothing too out there. Thanks so much!

The first name that came to mind was [name]Matthew[/name] [name]Brian[/name]. I also like [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Brian[/name] and [name]James[/name] [name]Brian[/name]. I would avoid any first names that end in the letter N. I knew a boy once named [name]Dylan[/name] [name]Bryan[/name] and I thought they just sounded too similar.

[name]William[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Joshua[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Miles[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Hugo[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Felix[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Christopher[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Jeremiah[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Isaiah[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Josiah[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Theodore[/name] [name]Brian[/name]

I also really like [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Brian[/name].

I really like Brian best for the middle name it’s such a nice way to honor your husband. Good luck!

Thanks for your suggestions. I forgot to say that [name]Norman[/name] was DH’s middle name and also his dad’s first name so I didn’t know if we should continue this pattern for a boys middle name or since DH got his dad’s name as a middle our boy should get DH’s first name as his middle. I was just finding [name]Brian[/name] hard to work with. My latest favorite is [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Brian[/name], but I still like [name]Cooper[/name] [name]Brian[/name], [name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Brian[/name], [name]Noah[/name] [name]Brian[/name], [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Brian[/name]. I like names that end in n also, but they don’t sound good with [name]Brian[/name], like [name]Holden[/name], [name]Colton[/name], [name]Hudson[/name] and [name]Corbin[/name]. Oh well still trying to
narrow them down.

Of your favorite names this is my order of liking them
[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Cooper[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Brian[/name]
[name]Elijah[/name] [name]Brian[/name]

The n names you have are very nice also. I don’t know how many children you plan on having but you could save them for future children where you don’t plan on using [name]Brian[/name] or [name]Norman[/name] as the middle name.

lisaann-this is actually our 2nd child. DD is [name]Annabelle[/name]. I was trying to narrow down names that would go with mn [name]Brian[/name] and then I have tosee which goes best with DD. I don’t know if we are done after this or if we will have one more. This one will probably be another girl anyway and all this thinking of boys names is going to be moot anyways  Thanks!

[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Brian[/name] or [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Brian[/name]. My father is [name]Brian[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], so maybe [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Brian[/name] could work too?

[name]Hi[/name] Berries,

I’m still working on this and wondering if you had any other suggestions to go with middle name of [name]Brian[/name]. It is hard because I like so many names that end in ‘n’ but they just don’t sound right…argh. What do you think sounds best. I think the front runners are [name]Lucas[/name] or [name]Luke[/name] [name]Brian[/name], [name]Jake[/name] [name]Brian[/name] and [name]Cooper[/name] [name]Brian[/name], but nothing feels like the one yet. so please help! Thanks!

Have you thought of [name]Connor[/name] [name]Brian[/name]? I really like the way it sounds. From your list, I really like [name]Luke[/name] [name]Brian[/name]. I had another thought…how about [name]Jack[/name] [name]Brian[/name]?

A cousin has a little boy named [name]Connor[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] rhymes with our last name, which sucks because I really like it. We could do [name]Jackson[/name] but it was my [name]BIL[/name] dog who passed away last year (family might still be sensitive to us using the name) it is also really popular and doesn’t sound the best with [name]Brian[/name]. I’m still rattling my brain and trying to think of other names, but I don’t like too many. I feel like I am running out of time and family is starting to ask for names…ugh.
