Note I agree with a lot of people that girl names should stay girl names and boy names should stay boy names. However I’m pretty curious. For me it has to be [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Amber[/name_f].

I seem to have a double standard on this, and generally accept girl names on boys more than boy names on girls. Still, most of them have some use on boys, or are unisex that I like better on boys. And most are nature names (as is most my list).

I’m not a fan of Parker, Cameron, or Hayden on a girl, but if I see a combo with Eden, Florence, or Jade (or any of the names listed so far) on a boy I am swooning. Maybe it’s some subconscious thing against the idea that masculine things are tough (and therefore are good to bestow upon a girl) and feminine things are weak (and you wouldn’t want to make your son sound weak 
)

Iris! I LOVE the thought of [name_f]Iris[/name_f] on a boy and since it’s a nature name I don’t see why it can’t. Same thing with [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Jade[/name_f], [name_f]Alba[/name_f], [name_f]Jayne[/name_f], [name_u]Zola[/name_u] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u] (I have both [name_u]Zola[/name_u] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u] listed for boys on my list).

I like the idea of a lot of flower/virtue/word names on boys. I feel like since they’re just words they don’t really have a “gender”. Like how is a plant or a positive attribute a “girl thing”?
