Note I agree with a lot of people that girl names should stay girl names and boy names should stay boy names. However I’m pretty curious. For me it has to be [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Amber[/name_f].
Florence, probably.
All of them
Some of my favorites…
[name_f]Jade[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f]
[name_u]Willow[/name_u]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_u]London[/name_u]

Ada. I don’t know why, I just think it would sound better for a boy
Ada is a unisex name where I live (but more popular for girls)
Oh, and after watching Halloween and finding out that was [name_u]Michael[/name_u] Myers middle name, I’m obsessed with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] on a boy
Jade
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
Vivian on a boy is one of my all time favourites
I seem to have a double standard on this, and generally accept girl names on boys more than boy names on girls. Still, most of them have some use on boys, or are unisex that I like better on boys. And most are nature names (as is most my list).
[name_u]Raven[/name_u]
[name_f]Jade[/name_f]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Hollis[/name_u]
[name_u]Willow[/name_u]
[name_u]Blue[/name_u]
[name_u]Gray[/name_u]
[name_u]Rain[/name_u]
[name_u]Sky[/name_u]/Skye (I’m fine with these on a girl, I just want more on boys!)
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
For the actual girl names
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - I don’t know, a boy named [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] makes me swoon
[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Solstice[/name_u]
[name_u]Nova[/name_u] - Same as [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Fay[/name_f] - I understand the teasing potential, I just wish we could get past that
[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] -I blame the [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] Fowl books I read when I was young
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Maris[/name_f] - I love them as girl names, but I wouldn’t mind them on boys
Aaaaaand, probably a whole lot more…
this ^^
I’m not a fan of Parker, Cameron, or Hayden on a girl, but if I see a combo with Eden, Florence, or Jade (or any of the names listed so far) on a boy I am swooning. Maybe it’s some subconscious thing against the idea that masculine things are tough (and therefore are good to bestow upon a girl) and feminine things are weak (and you wouldn’t want to make your son sound weak )
Luna, [name_f]Alba[/name_f], [name_f]Fenna[/name_f], [name_f]Runa[/name_f], [name_u]Zola[/name_u]
I absolutely love the idea of [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] on a boy.
Ivy!!!
Plus a lot of others lol
Aubrey
[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Jaine[/name_f]
[name_u]Clare[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_u]Vivien[/name_u]
Angel, [name_f]Amber[/name_f], [name_f]Ebony[/name_f], [name_u]Seren[/name_u], [name_u]Nova[/name_u], [name_f]Celandine[/name_f], [name_f]Saffron[/name_f], [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Nyla[/name_f], [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_u]Holly[/name_u], [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] would be nice, particularly with the -lyn/-lain pronunciation
Iris! I LOVE the thought of [name_f]Iris[/name_f] on a boy and since it’s a nature name I don’t see why it can’t. Same thing with [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Jade[/name_f], [name_f]Alba[/name_f], [name_f]Jayne[/name_f], [name_u]Zola[/name_u] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u] (I have both [name_u]Zola[/name_u] and [name_u]Raven[/name_u] listed for boys on my list).
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
Yes, [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] Fowl!
I like the idea of a lot of flower/virtue/word names on boys. I feel like since they’re just words they don’t really have a “gender”. Like how is a plant or a positive attribute a “girl thing”?
Arya is an [name_f]Indian[/name_f] boys name and I know a few, and wow I love it so much better on a boy than a girl!
