KEEP-uh
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] is apparently pronounced (vaio-reto)
I also did my nickname:
[name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] (vi-nii)
Pronounced like Morri!
Fascinating! Thanks for sharing this.

Your name is [name_f]Violet[/name_f] nn [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] !? I love that, gosh. I used to call my sister [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] allll the time (her name is [name_f]Violet[/name_f], too). She hated it, but [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] now has such a special place in my heart because of all that time calling her [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]. It’s so cool that she’s not the only [name_f]Violet[/name_f] nn [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u] out there!
Oh that’s so cool! [name_f]My[/name_f] nickname came from my great grandmother who was named [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] nn. [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]
That’s gorgeous.
I translated my online name (Scarlet) since they didn’t have a direct translation of my real name (or of Artemisia). It came out as being Sukaaretto. As per my research, it quite literally means ‘scarlet’ in Japanese. I love it, especially with the nickname [name_f]Sakura[/name_f]!
Ironically, my name, [name_u]Mina[/name_u], is also a Japanese name so :)))
