I prefer the first pronunciation. I find I am quite attracted to this name but can’t decide if I like it enough to add it to my list.(I would add it as a middle)
What names pair well with it? The only first names on my list that don’t have fairly set middles are Eliza and Elise(I will only be using one.) Does Elise Marguerite sound too strong on the “ee” sound?
I kind of love this name. I pronounce it with three syllable way, and would probably use it for a mn. Although, as a first name, the nn [name]Rita[/name] is really cute. Names that I think go well with it:
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Ava[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
I have a Grandmother named [name]Marguerite[/name] and its my biological moms mn, I don’t have the best association with it but I still think its a nice name, they prn it the first way.
My bio-moms full name is [name]Loraine[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name] which I think has a nice sound.
I pronounce is the first way, I never thought much of the name, but lately I’ve started to really like it! [name]One[/name] of my best friends is named [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name], I think they go well together.
[name]Marguerite[/name] is the wife of the [name]Scarlet[/name] Pimpernel!.. I’m not really liking [name]Marguerite[/name] too much, I think [name]Margaret[/name] is much prettier. I’d pronounce it mar-gə-[name]REET[/name], and I’d use it as a middle if I had to.
spunkiedoodle’s suggestion [name]Ava[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name] would be pretty cute!
I’ve always loved the name [name]Marguerite[/name]! It is one of my favorites. We pronounce it your first way as It is my Aunt’s first name. We call her Aunt [name]Margie[/name] for short though. To me, [name]Marguerite[/name] has always had a European flavor, and a Spicey feel to it. I would use it as a fn or mn.
[name]Gabriella[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Liliana[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Palomina[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name]
[name]Dominique[/name] [name]Marguerite[/name] (I love this rhyminess)
