eg. vintage? Trendy?
Also, what do you think of it? Any middle name suggestions would be helpful! Thanks

When I hear [name]Harvey[/name] I think of two things.
I like the name, I think it’s got a great mixtures of spunk and reverence. I also love the idea of a little boy [name]Harvey[/name] and an adult [name]Harvey[/name] (the only time I have problems picturing the name is on a teen- but thank god we don’t stay teens forever). I think [name]Harvey[/name] is a vintagey name. However, I can see a few people considering it because of the tv show (I know my SO loves the character and would consider the name for no other reason but that). I don’t think it will ever become really trendy again.
A few combo’s I like are:
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]August[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Elliott[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Sylvester[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Finn[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Theodore[/name]
Ha ha, I also watched Suits. I love [name]Harvey[/name] [name]August[/name] though, thanks
I love [name]Harvey[/name]. It’s very English to me. It and [name]Harry[/name] are probably my two favorites right now.
Combos:
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Vincent[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Marshall[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Malcolm[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Sullivan[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Francis[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Gordon[/name]
I consider [name]Harvey[/name] a name that is inexplicably popular in the UK but in the far exurbs of fashion here in the US.
Yeah, very popular in the UK and I consider it to be pretty downmarket here too. Well, I certainly don’t have a positive image of the name.
To me, it has a very English vibe. The kind of name Anglophiles really go for. (not a bad thing, just saying)
Personally, I think it’s pretty silly sounding, mainly because I associate it with a Weird [name]Al[/name] song. I forget the title, but it’s about a “wonder hamster”.
I used to consider [name]Harvey[/name] to be the name of a nerdy/goofy type until the show Suits with that sexy [name]Harvey[/name] Specter. Now I see [name]Harvey[/name] as dashing and classy
[name]Sabrina[/name] the Teenage Witch, all the way. I don’t know why, I just can’t get that connection out of my head.
I really like [name]Harvey[/name]. It’s a nice name, I think of PJ [name]Harvey[/name] though… I also went to university with a [name]Harvey[/name], he had hornrimmed glasses and read [name]Hemingway[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] [name]Miller[/name] books a lot.
I think it’s more vintage than trendy, but it’s getting really popular here. I don’t care for it personally, but it’s alright.
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Matthias[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]
Unfortunately I can’t help but think of the [name]Guy[/name] [name]Harvey[/name] brand t-shirts… you know the really southern redne–um I mean “country” ones with the giant pictures of fish on them? (Presumably on a background of camoflauge?) Sadly that is my immediate association and it just ruins the name for me, though if I try very hard to ignore that fact, I can Kind of see it working, along the same lines as [name]Harry[/name].
I love the description of [name]Harvey[/name] as a “guys and dolls name.” I think of it as a vintage name ([name]Jimmy[/name] [name]Stewart[/name] and his rabbit), as a powerful, manly, showbiz name ([name]Harvey[/name] Weinstein, [name]Harvey[/name] Keitel)… I imagine a [name]Harvey[/name] as someone who has a wicked sense of humor, someone with street smarts, someone mischievous in an endearing way… Maybe he swears a lot, looks good in a suit, has wild schemes, invents or collects stuff, and takes great care of his mother.
