These are so nice. Unfortunately, my five year old’s first suggestion for her new sibling was ‘hotdog’. None of her dolls have pretty names either.
[name_f]Lilla[/name_f] my 4 1/2 year old recently had this conversation with her [name_f]Nana[/name_f].
“When I grow up I’ll be big like Mama and I’ll have a baby. If it’s a brother I’ll name him [name_u]Max[/name_u], If it’s a girl I’ll name her [name_f]Annette[/name_f].”
When asked she like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. Boy names just [name_u]Max[/name_u].
We know a lot of [name_u]Max[/name_u]'s. I’m not sure where [name_f]Annette[/name_f] came from? [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] is from a movie she likes. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] have all been on our list so she has heard them a lot.
[name_f]My[/name_f] mum said that when I was little, I wanted [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] for my baby sister (I was 3), and my sister used to name her dolls [name_f]Moon[/name_f] (boy), [name_f]Star[/name_f] (girl), [name_f]Sally[/name_f] and [name_m]Fred[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] taste isn’t too much different, but [name_f]Mikayla[/name_f]'s certainly is 
[name_f]My[/name_f] parents were originally going to name me [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] if I was a girl. [name_f]My[/name_f] brother, however, wanted me to be [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] Elaineth (he was 5). LOL.
I asked my almost nine year old if she had to name a girl right now what would you call her…[name_u]Dana[/name_u] (day na) [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. Boy …[name_u]Spencer[/name_u].
[name_f]My[/name_f] seven year old said [name_f]Maria[/name_f] and [name_u]Cody[/name_u].

I don’t have any kids. I do have a two and a half year old niece though! Her favorite name, the one she gave her doll, is [name_f]Kitty[/name_f].
While I don’t have children yet, I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant with my first, the 3-5 year olds where I teach are very interested in telling me names that they like for my baby (we don’t know gender yet). The best one I have heard is [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. The worst is nosy, yes as in your nose, however we are learning about the five senses this month so I think that’s why the little girl said that.
[name_f]My[/name_f] niece’s suggestion was [name_f]Luna[/name_f] for my upcoming arrival.
I asked my oldest son, and he said he likes [name_u]Christy[/name_u], [name_u]Ash[/name_u] (from Pokémon) and [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] (no idea where he got [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] from tbh). He also mentioned he likes the name [name_m]Coy[/name_m] (which is the name of our dog)
