By partner really wants to use the name [name]Sydney[/name] I like the name, but… I hate the nicknames I think of…

I hate the sound of ‘’[name]Sid[/name]’’ and can’t think of any pretty nicknames?

I don’t think [name]Sadie[/name] will take off as a nickname (although it is my GM’s name and I love it). I know several people named [name]Sydney[/name] and I have never heard anyone call them [name]Sid[/name]/[name]Syd[/name], which I agree is awful. I’m sure it happens in quick conversation but generally speaking I don’t think people with [name]Sydney[/name] get a nn. [name]Hope[/name] that helps.
