and iām in agreement with @whatchamacallit in regards to elaine, i read that name in a book when i was younger and iāve always thought it was so darling (despite the fact that this elaine was a beetle, a creature most considerā¦notā¦darling)

Iām so enthusiastic about Jeanette having a comback. She has so many cute nicknames - Jean, Anne, Etta, Nettie, Jet - and I know a few girls named Jean, so I donāt see why not! I firmly believe Jeanette is criminally underrated. (Also, I 1000% agree with Irene and Dorothy @silver.magnolia). I really think Ida and Ada could come back with all of the short, snappy names that are trending. I think a lot of āold southā names could trend soon too/already are - Zelda, Ruby, Abigail, Loretta, Annabelle, Hattie/Dottie/Jeanie/Polly/Trudy + full names for those, Faith, Charlene, Frances, Marceline āMarcie,ā Magnolia, Maryann/Marianne, Anna Claire, Anna Beth, Anna May, Claribel/Clarabelle, and other compound combinations.
