The most outrageous name you can’t believe someone would ever use. Mine is Abcde.
In my country one man named his son БОЧ рВФ 260602 (abbreviation for Biological Object Human of the Voronin-Frolov family, born on [name_u]June[/name_u] 26, 2002)
I’ve seen so many that I can’t remember them. I guess a few that stuck with me are:
Legg
Mayhem [name_u]Mars[/name_u] or [name_u]Mars[/name_u] Mayhem, can’t remember which one
Synceer
…Huh? Excusez-moi???
X Æ A-12. [name_m]Even[/name_m] Discourse said “body unclear”.
It was 18 years ago. The local authorities did not want to issue a birth certificate with this name. When the boy grew up, he changed his name to [name_m]Igor[/name_m] (common name here). But I still feel shocked lol. How could his parents even come up with this😬
Definitely [name_u]Sutton[/name_u]. There’s nothing particularly nice or melodic about this name, and it sounds like mutton. There are so many -ton names, I just don’t get this one.
I wouldn’t have changed my name to [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] if I knew that was an option! [name_f]My[/name_f] name is now B.O.H.140206, but you have to say it in a robot voice
I really dislike [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f]. I think it looks and sounds awful I also know of a few people who named their son [name_m]Buddy[/name_m] - why??
There are lots of classic names I think are boring but I don’t exactly hate them.
I was reading some old posts on the Name Sightings thread, and some I remember were Biggles and Karni… Other more common ones are [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f], any unconventional names ending in -lyn/lynn (I saw a Kendalynn, like [name_u]Kendall[/name_u] and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]), and a lot of names ending in -ly/ley (ex: [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f], [name_f]Tinsley[/name_f])
One more strange name from [name_f]Russia[/name_f] - this month one family named their child Marketing…
If I had to pick, it would be either X Æ A-12, [name_f]Neveah[/name_f], or [name_m]Guy[/name_m]. Like, why are you naming your kid [name_m]Guy[/name_m]?!?!?
