I’m [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], but I would have been [name_m]Jackson[/name_m], which is my younger brother’s name. Him and our other younger brother would have been [name_f]Anna[/name_f], which is our little sister’s name. [name_f]My[/name_f] older brother [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] would have been [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] if a girl, but [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are so similar that my parents decided that they wouldn’t have both. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] didn’t have a boy name, and my OTHER younger brother didn’t have a girl name. They barely even had a boy name lol they decided on his name like two weeks before he was born.

On my mother’s side it was a kind of tradition to call your daughter by a name ending in -ine (sounding een cause french names), [name_f]Claudine[/name_f], [name_f]Sandrine[/name_f], [name_f]Christine[/name_f] etc, so at first my mum wanted to call me [name_f]Charline[/name_f]. But after my older sister was named No¨ellyne, my father wanted a different flavored name, his choice was Anne-Charlotte. I like this one to be honest, it’s in my name list.
[name_f][/name_f]But anyway, they finally set up on [name_f]Marianne[/name_f]. Which i don’t dislike, but… meh, it sounds so… frenchy. Like there’s no more frenchy name than this one xD But still, yup, that’s my name.

[name_f]My[/name_f] almost name was [name_f]Megan[/name_f], which is far more common for my age than the vintage classic name I have! [name_f]My[/name_f] name is common among kids now, but not among 90’s babies.
[name_f][/name_f]If I were a boy, I would have been [name_m]Brenden[/name_m]. They were team green, so this is the boy name they went to the hospital with.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]My[/name_f] parents definitely just liked what they liked because it’s crazy that they went to the hospital with [name_m]Brenden[/name_m] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] haha. Totally different styles, especially in the 90’s when the only Audreys were like 70+ years old haha

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] were in the running for me. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. The story goes that my mother always suspected she was having a girl so didn’t bother choosing any boy names, which is probably just as well I turned out to be a girl! She has said that she does like [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] for boys.

I was almost named Lys@nne. I think it would’ve fit me! I really love my name and I can’t see myself with any other name but Lys@nne would’ve been more rare and not as common as my actual name. I would’ve liked to see how it would feel to not have a common name lol

They thought I was a boy for a while so my name would’ve been [name_m]Tyson[/name_m] (funnily enough ended up being my cousin’s name.
[name_f][/name_f]They liked [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f] but it was my uncle’s ‘girl name’ and the other name in contention was [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] parents didn’t start picking names til they knew the gender so I don’t have one for the opposite sex but sounds like [name_f]Julie[/name_f] and I think it was [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] that were the other top 2 contenders according to my mom.
[name_f][/name_f]I know my dad’s picks were [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], and [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]. I know he also likes [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and [name_f]Valeria[/name_f] but I don’t think they were on his radar at the time. [name_f]My[/name_f] mom likes [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Athena[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] “Vicky” but other than [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], I don’t think they were on her radar til later

[name_f]My[/name_f] father was hoping to name me Rhododendron on account of it being his favorite plant, but my mother intervened.
