Side note: .I wore glasses, I read a lot, was slightly nerdy, and tended to overshare stuff that I read. In short, I wasn’t the same as the other kids and that somehow made me a threat. I’m an adult and more than fine now, but it took getting away from my small town to a large college for me to realize that while I’m different from the kids I grew up with it, I"m pretty normal for the rest of the world.
