For me I picture [name]Sloane[/name] as straight blonde hair, grey eyes. It’s hard for me to picture this name on a little girl just because the name seems so serious to me, but on an teen or adult I could see her being a pretty powerful, classy, businesswoman who always has a goal to reach. It isn’t a name I would choose for myself just because I think it’s too serious for a little girl, and I know she won’t be a child forever but I want a name that would suit her in all her life stages, not one she’d have to grow in to. But that’s just my impression 
I picture [name]Sloane[/name] with soft blond hair and big hazel eyes with a touch of green. She’s bright and confident - a definite take-charge personality. She’s funny and charming and and incredibly driven.
[name]Do[/name] I like the name? To me, it’s a little on the heavy side. I don’t love the “own-moan” sound so much. I could see [name]Quinn[/name] with a very similar personality, and I prefer the name to [name]Sloane[/name].

The first time I heard the name was on Entourage, so I picture that character. Petite, brunette, spunky/sassy, confident, intelligent.
I like it - not in an I’d-use-it way but in a hmm-cute-name way. I agree with [name]Lemon[/name] that it has a heavy sound. I also yearn for a cute nickname possibility that just isn’t present with [name]Sloane[/name].
I see [name]Mark[/name] [name]Sloane[/name] from [name]Grey[/name]'s Anatomy and maybe just maybe his surprise daughter who came town town pregnant and named [name]Sloane[/name]. She was blonde and pretty, but somewhat serious, not at all perky. But seriously, I mostly see [name]Mark[/name] [name]Sloane[/name].
I can still it as a girl name, but just a little serious.
I picture [name]Sloane[/name] [name]Peterson[/name], [name]Ferris[/name] [name]Bueller[/name]'s girlfriend in [name]Ferris[/name] [name]Bueller[/name]'s [name]Day[/name] Off. Dark hair, pretty girl-next-door with a good sense of humor and a lot of self-confidence. One of those names that’s hard to bear if you’re not pretty and popular.
I’d like to second everything monstermash said, that’s my association with the name. I’ve not seen a ton of love for [name]Sloane[/name] on the boards, but personally I like it. Not frilly but a lovely name!
I see [name]Sloane[/name] as a name with a dangerous vibe! I definitely see a bad ass fringe character with a rebellious, carefree, risk-taking personality. I picture [name]Sloane[/name] as a brunette. I see [name]Sloane[/name] as a bartender or a motorcycle mechanic. =p
