What would you name Siobhan's sister?

I love Irish names, my heritage is Irish and I just think they are beautiful. I’m in love with the name Siobhan, particularly with the nickname Bonnie. Does anyone have any suggestions for what they would name sisters to Siobhan? Bonus points if they have nicknames that could also be considered stand alone names!

I’m in love with Orla/Orlaith but it doesn’t have an intuitive nick name so that one is not on the serious list unfortunately

[name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] and…

[name_f]Mairead[/name_f] (Mary, [name_f]Maire[/name_f], [name_u]Rae[/name_u], [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], Mae)

How are you getting [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] from [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f]?

I like [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f], [name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f], [name_f]Aoife[/name_f], Meadbh (or Maeve) with [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f]. Maybe [name_u]Aoibheann[/name_u].

It’s just from the spelling and sounds very cute! [name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] but my nickname is [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] so I like the idea of having a nick name for my kids that is similarly disconnected still makes some sense

I found it intriguing and very sweet!

All the ones I can think of don’t have an intuitive nickname!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] and [name_f]Bronagh[/name_f], they’re on my list. Also [name_f]Aoife[/name_f], [name_f]Siofra[/name_f], [name_f]Eithne[/name_f], [name_f]Aine[/name_f], [name_f]Grainne[/name_f], [name_f]Sorcha[/name_f], [name_f]Dervla[/name_f], [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] (Evie perhaps?)

[name_f]Connemara[/name_f] is nice and could give [name_u]Connie[/name_u] (not ideal with Bonnie!) or [name_f]Mara[/name_f].

I would use the Irish / Gaelic pronunciation. It might take a few corrections, but friends and family will quickly catch on. I knew a [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] who loved her name and did not feel the unusual spelling and pronunciation were a big deal.
