Eventually, [name_u]Perris[/name_u] would stop complaining because [name_f]Via[/name_f] can be scary when she’s mad. He likes to think he’s the boss, but she is extremely able to get him to do whatever she wants.

“I won’t!” I blurt. “That’s what I’m doing, [name_u]Will[/name_u]. She won’t take you away from me, so we have to stay apart until this is over.”
He sets his jaw. I turn away before he can change my mind. Frozen tears litter the snow in my wake.
