Today my two-year-old (three in two weeks), [name]Beatrix[/name], announced that she would have a baby girl named [name]Orange[/name] and a boy named [name]Banana[/name]. [name]Ronan[/name], my five-year-old, campaigned hard to have the boy named [name]Orange[/name], but she wouldn’t budge.
[name]Ronan[/name] decided his boy would be named [name]Coop[/name] (NOT [name]Cooper[/name], but he said they’d use Coopster as a NN), and his girl would be [name]Trula[/name]. (I think this name is from the 12 Days of [name]Christmas[/name]. For years, he’s sung it as “…my trula gave to me…” Kind of a sweet name!)
My son [name]Peter[/name] loves the names [name]Vincent[/name] and [name]Sergio[/name]. My daughter [name]Laura[/name] loves [name]Vincent[/name], [name]Sergio[/name], [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Celeste[/name], and I can’t think of any more.
My daughter wants twins who she’ll name [name]Alexandra[/name] and [name]Alexander[/name], or [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]Nicole[/name], she isn’t sure

I remember when I was younger, going through that stage where you think it would be really great to name your girls all the gem stones you can think of, and your son would be [name]Stone[/name] or [name]Rock[/name] … also, I was pretty keen on Sting for a while … funny looking back, hey?
My son (10) came up with [name]Luke[/name] [name]Ronald[/name] or [name]Lavender[/name] [name]Leia[/name] for his 9 month old sibling. ([name]Judith[/name] [name]Bridget[/name]… [name]Lavender[/name] [name]Leia[/name] sounds like a cake for me. He got over it.)
I do have a friend who (with her brother) got to choose her little sister’s middle name. They chose [name]Lucy[/name], or [name]Edmund[/name] for a boy.
My oldest daughter 11, swears she is never having kids. She never played with baby dolls so I guess it’s no surprise. She does however like the name [name]Wren[/name] for a little sister. She refuses to give a boys name because she’s knows if we have a boy she’ll be stuck sharing a room with her little sister. My youngest daughter almost 5, loves the names [name]Clora[/name], [name]Lucas[/name], Ambrielle (?), [name]Alex[/name] ( a boy from kindergarten), and [name]Love[/name] Heart.
[name]Sonja[/name] is determined to name her first boy Fireman. Her daddy’s a fireman, and she already has a lot of respect and love for the job. She also loves Coriander, [name]Brook[/name], and Kooji for a boy and [name]Cloud[/name], [name]Flower[/name], and Bumble [name]Bee[/name] for a girl (she’s really into nature names ). We just saw Ponyo yesterday, and she has decided its her number 1 choice for a girl (not sure how long that will last though)
[name]Forrester[/name] doesn’t know what he wants to name future kids, but he wants his new brother to be named [name]Forrester[/name] [name]Jr[/name]. after himself, which I find really cute.
The little girl I babysit said that when her mom had the baby, she (the little girl, she’s 5) would name her [name]Jasmine[/name] (like the princess) [name]Veronica[/name] (like the little girl’s mn). I asked what if it were a boy, and she said her brother would name it Racecar. So [name]Jasmine[/name] [name]Veronica[/name] or Racecar. Poor child. Luckily, the mother didn’t take the little girl’s suggestions seriously! It made sense though. The little girl liked [name]Aladdin[/name] and the little boy liked Cars!
[name]Daisy[/name] (10) - Says it depends on the season. In spring she’d name a girl [name]Violet[/name] and a boy [name]Tyler[/name]. In summer she’d name a girl [name]Summer[/name] and a boy [name]Austin[/name]. In the fall, she’d name a girl [name]Ruby[/name] and a boy [name]Martie[/name], and in winter a girl would be [name]Sara[/name] and a boy would be [name]John[/name].
[name]Dalton[/name] (8) - [name]Kevin[/name] for a boy, [name]Charlie[/name] for a girl. It’d be short for [name]Charlotte[/name].
[name]Thomas[/name] (8) - [name]Thomas[/name] for a boy, [name]Lauren[/name] for a girl ([name]Lauren[/name]'s the name of the girl in his class that he likes)
[name]Faith[/name] (5) - Either [name]Carly[/name] or [name]Charlie[/name] for a girl… she doesn’t want any boys, lol
