[name]James[/name] [name]Mason[/name] doesn’t really flow because of the M in both the names. [name]James[/name] [name]Charles[/name] is nice.
[name]James[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Roscoe[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]William[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Calvin[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Theodore[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Parker[/name]
[name]James[/name] [name]Arthur[/name]
My husband and I are thinking of using [name_u]James[/name_u] as a first name if we have a boy and are stuck on the middle. Depending on the middle name, we wouldn’t want him to be nicknamed using his initials, so for example, [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] (which I love) would be out in our book bc of JT. Same goes for [name_m]JR[/name_m] or JP or JJ - nothing against those who prefer that, it’s just not our style. I love the name [name_u]James[/name_u] and if we have a boy would like to stick with that (I realize [name_m]Jim[/name_m] or [name_m]Jimmy[/name_m] can happen, but that’s a whole other post!) That being said, we are in the same pickle trying to figure out a middle name for [name_u]James[/name_u]. So far we are thinking [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m].
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though I’m not a fan of pairing two one syllable names, out of those two choices I’d choose [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m].
A middle name for [name_u]James[/name_u], first thought was [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]. [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] or even [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u].
Of the two options, I prefer [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m].
I agree with most of the names picked by cannebella–I’d tend to prefer a middle name with 2+ syllables if the first name only has one.
My HP geekdom will not permit me to pass up the opportunity to recommend that you name your child [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], even as I recognize this is a terrible idea.
I like [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m]! And:
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] is nice. If you’re in the US [name_m]Charles[/name_m] has two syllables anyway. Although the endings are a little matching. [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Mason[/name_u] is OK it just sounds very much like a FN LN combo and there are a lot of repeated sounds.
I suggest [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Milo[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Carlton[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m].
I love [name_u]James[/name_u]! I like [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Mason[/name_u]. It is a good mix of classic and modern. You could also use:
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Liam[/name_m]
My mother’s side of the family has seven [name_u]James[/name_u] in it, and my favorite combos are [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]. There’s also [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u], which is nice, but S-heavy, as [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] is.
Didn’t [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Mason[/name_u] play the bad guy in [name_u]North[/name_u] by Northwest? [name_m]Just[/name_m] mentioning that in case you know any old movie buffs who might pick up the accidental connection.
Other possibilities:
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Parker[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Nolan[/name_m]
Here are some ore suggestions:
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Johnathon[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Levi[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Kasper[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]David[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Ptolemy[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]
[name_m]Both[/name_m] my uncle [name_m]Jim[/name_m] and my husband are [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]!
