What do you think is the best way to spell [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]?

I like, in order of preference:
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Catharine[/name_f]
[name_f]Katharine[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]

I don’t like:
[name_f]Kathryn[/name_f]
[name_f]Cathryn[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] looks the classiest, [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] has a bit more oomph and the others are unnecessarily misspelled.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is the best way.
Also prefer [name_f]Cate[/name_f] and [name_f]Cathy[/name_f] to [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Kathy[/name_f].

Would use [name_f]Cathy[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Rin[/name_f] or possibly [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] as nicknames. (I have a theory that all names containing -th- can be nicknamed [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] :P)

The best way is [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] if you like brevity. If you want it to look good on envelopes and have it forever shortened then [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is best.

If I were to use the name I’d go with [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

I go between [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Catharine[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], and [name_f]Katharine[/name_f]. The others don’t really appeal to me, unfortunately, though.

My first preference is [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], but I don’t mind [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] either.

I love [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] - it’s not quite as classic in spelling but I do think it’s got a more modern appeal.

I think both [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] are both fine - I just find them a little less fun.

I might be biased as I have a really great friend [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f] ([name_f]Katy[/name_f]) this name spelling and I’ve never had that great of an experience with a [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].
