So I am almost set on girl name [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as an middle name). I just love the meaning of [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and the nickname [name_m]Eddie[/name_m]. What do you guys think of this name? & what kind of girl do you imagine when you hear it? Could you also think of sibling names (maybe for in the future :D).

I don’t mind [name_u]Eden[/name_u] but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] seems to be one of those go-to “filler” middle names. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] flows well but since they’re both four letters, I would prefer something a longer in the middle spot. Have you considered longer “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]” names like [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] etc…? I do prefer the nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f] rather than the boyish [name_m]Eddie[/name_m] as a nickname choice.
I’ve never met an [name_u]Eden[/name_u] so I really don’t have any association with the name itself. The image it conjures up for me is of a curious, slightly mischievous, spunky girl. I think names like [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Marnie[/name_f], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Amber[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Briar[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Lark[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Holly[/name_f], [name_f]Margo[/name_f], [name_f]Zara[/name_f], [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], [name_u]Shea[/name_u], [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], [name_f]Calla[/name_f], [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_u]Skye[/name_u] would be good for [name_u]Eden[/name_u]'s sisters.
I like [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] w/an additional mn (or perhaps even as a double first name). [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so brief…feels like she’d be shortchanged w/just that middle name.
I think [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is beautiful. A place of delight and a beautiful flower, that for me brings thoughts of love, peace, and beauty. Great combo.
You will have some that will suggest that you might be using [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a filler, I hear this with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] also. For me, both names, whether in the first name spot or middle name spot, would be for my late grandma and are special to me. Personally I do not understand the assumption of a name being used as a filler. I assume most people spend quite some time in choosing their children’s names.
[name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is gorgeous.
I love [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!!! I have an [name_u]Eden[/name_u],she’s [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but was almost [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. It’s a beautiful choice!

I named my baby just [name_u]Eden[/name_u], I wish I named her [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u]. I registered [name_u]Eden[/name_u] , so I am calling her [name_f]Rosa[/name_f].
I think [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is beautiful! I think it’s perfect and dainty the way it is; no need for anything else
I like [name_u]Eden[/name_u] but as a past poster said [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is just a filler middle name. I much prefer [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
I love the name in theory, but I know 3 little boys named [name_u]Eden[/name_u], so that’s ruined it as a girl name for me 
I would love it if it were [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is just a too short and simple for me. It is still very lovely, I just prefer a bit more contrast between the names (in length/syllable/style)

I love [name_u]Eden[/name_u], however I agree that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as the middle name is a bit short and predictable. I agree with some of the others on “[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]”. I like that much better!
Makes me think of someone describing a kind of rose (like primrose, [name_u]Eden[/name_u] rose, etc.). I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]Eden[/name_u] (I don’t understand naming a child Paradise), and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] feels like a filler.
I love the name [name_u]Eden[/name_u] (I once heard a song, as a child, and the opening lyrics went “[name_m]Born[/name_m] in the fall of '92, on the evening of a crimson moon, bringing paradise to all we knew: we named her [name_u]Eden[/name_u]” and I fell in love and decided then and there that I would name a girl [name_u]Eden[/name_u] one day…I’ve since found other loves, but [name_u]Eden[/name_u] always has a soft spot in my heart because of that)
I do agree that [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a middle name sounds like filler. For some people it isn’t (I had a childhood friend named [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and am a [name_m]Doctor[/name_m] Who fan so I adore the name [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and will probably use it), but it’s almost exclusively in the middle. You never meet little girls named [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but I can think of a few dozen people off the top of my head who have the middle name [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. So idk, when [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is in the middle I just automatically assume it’s there for filler.
Also, [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds like a thing, not a person.
If [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is especially significant to you for some reason, I say name her [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. It’s lovely. But if [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is just a name you like that sounds pretty, I would suggest altering it a tad to make it sound more name-y and less thing-y. [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f], etc.
