When you feel like that "perfect" name is still out there

So, I’ve got plenty of time left before baby is due but you know I just have to figure out babys name. So we agreed upon [name]Isla[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] with [name]Olivia[/name] Reau as a back up. Now dont get me wrong, I absolutely love those names but I just feel like I am missing the perfect name. So if you berries could help with a few name suggestions to help clear my head and give me some fresh new ideas. That will help me tremendously.

[name]Brenda[/name], [name]Alina[/name], [name]Julia[/name], [name]Cordelia[/name], [name]Moira[/name], [name]Leslie[/name], [name]Cameron[/name], [name]Fiona[/name], [name]Deanna[/name], [name]Sabina[/name], [name]Arabella[/name], [name]Lavina[/name], [name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Marcella[/name]

Sometimes choosing a name is like choosing a wedding dress, or even a husband for that matter. If you’ve found something you love, but you’re convinced there’s something better out there, it might be time to take a break from the search for a bit. Being inundated with the variety of names and suggestions and opinions can really skew your perspective sometimes, and a break will help clear up your feelings and give you a fresh start to look at things. [name]Both[/name] names you’ve chosen are beautiful, so why not just give it a rest for a bit? No looking through books, no surfing NB, no talking about names with your partner, etc. Let it lie, and then in say, a month, come back to it and then see how you feel. All the names will still be here floating around when you get back, and you may find you chose wisely the first time around, but just couldn’t see it at the time.

Good luck!

[name]Isla[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] is a gorgeous name! I’ve actually never been keen on [name]Olivia[/name], and especially not now that it’s in the Top 5, but to each her own. The suggestions that came to mind for me were [name]Eva[/name], [name]Jean[/name], [name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Opal[/name].

Good luck!

Edited to say, lucystone has a great point there too. Sometimes name overload can mess you up!

Why not try talking to your little one useing the names you have selected and see how the feel to you. Sometimes ‘the one’ has to grow on you. I think the choices you have are lovely.

Based on your style, I also like:
[name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Eliana[/name]
[name]Elaina[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Aria[/name]
[name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Lilia[/name] (is that a name?)
[name]Lila[/name]
[name]Lola[/name]
[name]Chloe[/name]

[name]Lucy[/name] makes a very good point! Take a break. It doesnt even have to be for a month.
I also liked lynae’s suggestion of using it when talking to your baby and seeing how you feel.
Good luck!
