When you hear the name Cassandra, who do you see..

Thank you all for taking the time to give me some feedback! I am expecting my third girl. Our first is [name]Gabriela[/name] [name]Noel[/name], 2 1/2, caramel hair and blue green eyes, sweet and mild mannered. Our second is [name]Jacqueline[/name] [name]Michele[/name], 15 months, nicknamed [name]Snow[/name] White because of her fair skin, thick dark hair and big eyes. She is spunky and daring.
My husband and I both like [name]Cassandra[/name], but I am curious what type of image the name gives!
Thanks in advance!!

[name]Love[/name] the name. [name]Even[/name] though it was popular in the 90’s, I’ve held onto it as a favorite since I was a little girl. Its very lush and sassy.

We have it on our girls short list too.

The only [name]Cassandra[/name] I know goes by [name]Cassie[/name] and she’s an absolute sweetheart.

[name]Cassandra[/name] - Poised, friendly and a bit strong personality but nothing over the top. I really love this name!

A mystery. Wears flowing garments, walking on her tippy toes like a ballerina on the edge of cliffs in a mild breeze at dusk. Maybe in the lush green grass after a rainstorm. Or climbing trees, looking at you knowingly from above. She smells like grass, or salty seas. Kind, truthful, unyielding, loyal, just and brave. Deep soulful wise eyes… Definitely a wildlife girl. Her dream pet would be an owl, fox or a wolf.

These descriptions are fabulous, and reinforce my love of the name!

I’m so sorry to tell you [name]Cassandra[/name] makes me think of a prostitute. [name]Alessandra[/name] is similar to [name]Cassandra[/name], but I don’t have any negative thoughts when I think [name]Alessandra[/name].

@raqkel, you just made me literally Lol. My mom has a similar image, and I have been trying to sell her on the nn [name]Cassie[/name], [name]Sandy[/name], or [name]Andi[/name]. Thanks for your honesty!

I love [name]Ottilie[/name]'s imagery! I know a stunning ([name]Snow[/name] White indeed!) girl named [name]Cassandra[/name] who gives me the image of marble and sleekness. So add that to [name]Ottilie[/name]'s description - love the name.

I have known two Cassandras well - both wonderful, really fond of them both. [name]Both[/name] smart, engaging, attractive enough (both in a sort of intellectual way) and marching to the beat of their own drummer. So I think of them.

I have a mysterious ancestor named [name]Cassandra[/name] (last name unknown). Before I knew of her, just associated it w/other lovely ancient names like [name]Alexandra[/name], [name]Cassiopeia[/name], Lysandra.
