Does your mind go directly to the motor company, truck, car, etc.?
Or could/do you envision a hip young kiddo that could rock skinny jeans, v-neck sweaters and penny loafers like his older brothers, [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and Dashiel?
My mind does not go directly toward the auto company. I automatically think of a boy/man that loves the outdoors and adventures. I picture a boy/man with his jeans rolled up, shoes and socks off skipping rocks. If it’s a young boy you will find some rocks and most likely a frog, maybe some worms, in his pockets. [name_m]Ford[/name_m] goes very well with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]. I love a [name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m] [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u], [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood, [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] and [name_m]Clark[/name_m] vibe with boy names, all three gives me this vibe.
I wanted to add that I think of it as a nature name before an auto company.
I knew a little boy named [name_m]Ford[/name_m] who really wore it well- didn’t at all make me think of the trucks. I think it goes really well with your other names.
I immediately go to [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], as in Han Solo. Which, in my opinion as I’m a [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars geek, isn’t a bad connotation. But no, I don’t think of the truck company.
I love the name [name_m]Ford[/name_m]! My mind does go to the motor company, mostly because my family owns and drives [name_m]Ford[/name_m] vehicles, and because I live near a lot of [name_m]Ford[/name_m] plants. I also think of [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]Ford[/name_m], mostly because I live near the museum and have gone countless times. It’s a very charming name, and fits well with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and Dashiel!
Yes & Yes:
My mind automatically goes to the motor company (ford cars are very popular in the U.K, [name_m]Ford[/name_m] as a name is not so well known).
However [name_m]Ford[/name_m] does go very well with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], and does fit with your description.
I immediately think of cars, and then the U.S. president, but I think it goes well with the other names and if I knew someone named [name_m]Ford[/name_m] I’d end up thinking of them instead of the cars, so I think it’s fine to use.
