[name]Lea[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] are my favorites - I love them both! They’re fun, playful, feminine, and sweet without being too stuffy or too frilly. Perfect combination, even for sisters!
[name]Lea[/name]- Very cute, ages well. Looks incomplete to me without the H on the end, though.
[name]Eve[/name]- Like this a lot, especially now. It’s a nice alternative to [name]Ava[/name] which is super popular.
[name]Fiona[/name]- [name]Love[/name] it! Apparently it’s associated with Shrek now, though? I’ve never seen any of those movies, so it doesn’t bother me, lol.
[name]Annika[/name]- I love [name]Anne[/name]/[name]Anna[/name], but the -ika ending seems harsh to my ears. Plus I don’t like the potential nicknames [name]Nicki[/name]/[name]Nika[/name].
[name]Iris[/name]- [name]Lovely[/name]. Yeah there’s the eye connection, but there’s also the flower connection, and overall I think this name just makes a pretty impression.
So if we’re ranking in order of liking, I’d go with [name]Fiona[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Eve[/name], [name]Lea[/name], and [name]Annika[/name].
Also, [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Eve[/name] sounds like a pretty perfect combination.
Yeah, I also really like [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Eve[/name]! Is [name]Leah[/name] pronounced [name]LAY[/name]? Because I’m pronouncing [name]Lea[/name] [name]LEE[/name]-UH. I like [name]Lea[/name] [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Eve[/name], and maybe [name]Iris[/name] [name]Mary[/name] or [name]Iris[/name] [name]Bryn[/name]? Thoughts? Too short?
Ha! [name]Leah[/name] and [name]Lea[/name] are pronounced exactly the same ([name]LEE[/name]-uh). [name]Leah[/name] is the Biblical sister of [name]Rachel[/name], both wives of [name]Jacob[/name]. Interestingly, it was once pointed out to me that the “Biblical” pronunciation of [name]Leah[/name] may have been [name]LAY[/name]-uh, like [name]Leia[/name], but in the so-called modern world, [name]Lea[/name] and [name]Leah[/name] are just the same. I like both, and I think [name]Lea[/name] makes the name look less Biblical and more spunky, like [name]Fiona[/name] - the spelling could be getting more attention because of the recent popularity of Glee actress [name]Lea[/name] [name]Michele[/name]…
@[name]Lemon[/name] Haha I wasn’t sure because the only [name]Leah[/name] I know says it like [name]LAY[/name]. Huh. I originally discovered [name]Lea[/name] because of [name]Lea[/name] [name]Michele[/name]. I am a huge Gleek. But I wouldn’t be naming a girl after her, just like the name.
Okay: So far I like [name]Lea[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] or [name]Lea[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Eve[/name]. I kinda want to use the middle name [name]Mary[/name] for a family tradition, what names would sound good with [name]Mary[/name] as the middle name?
That is so odd that the [name]Leah[/name] you know says her name as ‘[name]LAY[/name].’ There is no “-uh” attached to it at all? So, basically it is like a Hawaiian lei? Interesting! Anyway, I think [name]Lea[/name] is stunning, as is [name]Lea[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]!
I’m not totally sold on [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Eve[/name] because I think the names have competing vowel sounds. I don’t really care for names ending in -a to be followed by names beginning in vowels, myself. Since you like [name]Mary[/name], why not try something like [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Mary[/name], [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Marianne[/name], [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Marie[/name], or [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Mariam[/name]?
If I must say, [name]Lea[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Mary[/name] are amazing for sisters. I love those names!
Yeah, it is kinda weird! I much prefer [name]LEE[/name]-UH. I think I like the spelling of [name]Lea[/name] best, but I also like [name]Leah[/name]. [name]Lea[/name] seems a bit more unusual and quirky, yet still an acceptable spelling. [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Mary[/name] is pretty. I thought of that, and I like it, but I don’t know is I’m completely sold. I like [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Eve[/name] but now I that I think of it, the flow isn’t perfect. Well, I have one name I love!
Ooh, what about [name]Lea[/name] [name]Katherine[/name], [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Mary[/name], and [name]Eve[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]? Or [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eve[/name]? I don’t know, I love [name]Madeline[/name] too, but I think it’s too trendy. Does it sound good as a middle name paired with [name]Eve[/name]?
I love [name]Lea[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Mary[/name] (glad you at least like this one, maybe it will grow on you!), and I think [name]Madeline[/name] would be a pretty name to go with them! [name]Do[/name] you say it with a -line or -lyn sound at the end? I love [name]Madeleine[/name] said as ‘mad-uh-lyn,’ personally. What about [name]Eva[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]? I would pronounce [name]Eva[/name] like [name]Ava[/name] just so it doesn’t rhyme with [name]Lea[/name], but does it bother you that [name]Mary[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name] both start with the same letter?
Here are more names I like [name]Lea[/name] and [name]Fiona[/name]:
