[name_f]Ella[/name_f] definitely. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] reminds me of celery. No offense.
I like [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] but I love [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is beautiful and sweet.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] is mega popular right now and is cutsy and girly (my kind of thing) while [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] is unisex and very unique. I love them both!
[name_f]Ella[/name_f], definitely. Though it’s popular, it’s a classic. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] looks trendy, and sounds like celery. Not the end of the world, but to me, [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is the clear winner.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]- classic, timeless, and easy to spell. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u]- none of those.
I prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f] better than [name_u]Ellery[/name_u]. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is more classic, timeless, and adorable. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] isn’t very timeless and isn’t as feminine.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] by a mile.
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though popular, I prefer [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. It is lovely and I love the meaning (fairy maiden).
Not a big fan of either, but I like [name_f]Ella[/name_f] better.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]! It’s lilting, elegant, and regal sounding.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] hands down. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] is OK, but probably will get butchered.
Other [name_f]El[/name_f] names maybe? [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] ( beautiful and similar to [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] but with more history), [name_f]Elora[/name_f], [name_f]Luella[/name_f]…?
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] more… When I hear or see [name_u]Ellery[/name_u], ALL I can think of is Celery.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] – no contest. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] is all boy to me because of [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_f]Queen[/name_f]. Aside from that, it sounds too close to [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] for me to like it anyway. I like pp’s suggestion of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] – that’s beautiful and gives you a bit more unique name if that’s what you’re looking for. But [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is one of my favorites despite it’s popularity. I feel like it’s already starting to dwindle though with all the other “creative” and “original” names parents are coming up with for their daughters. I’m hopeful by the time I have a daughter (if ever), the popularity will be way down.
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Elle[/name_f].
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] is my pick between those two.
This. [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] also reminds me of celery.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f], it may currently be overused but it’s a classic
[name_f]Ella[/name_f], for sure:)
[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] but spelt that way
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] is very common, pretty name, to me it’s slightly too nicknamey but I like it, I know a lot of [name_f]Ella[/name_f]'s who are very different so it’s a versatile name but why not have [name_u]Ellery[/name_u] with the option of [name_f]Ella[/name_f] as a nickname and get the best of both worlds?
