which do you prefer?

I love masculine, tough names, we had a name picked for baby #2 but a friend named her baby that over the weekend.
So with the number 1 spot now open, my short list now consists of

[name_m]Casper[/name_m],
[name_m]Rufus[/name_m],
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] and
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m].

Thus would be a little brother for [name_m]Jed[/name_m].

What do you think? (or if you can think of anything else for the top spot? I’m open to suggestions)

Thank you

I would have to go with fletcher. What was the name you had picked out before?

I agree with the PP, [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] is the best. I don’t think the other names really fit with [name_m]Jed[/name_m].

Definitely [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]. I love it.

[name_m]Casper[/name_m] would be my pick.

I think [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] goes well with [name_m]Jed[/name_m]. I like the nickname Ru a lot better than the full name. [name_m]Jed[/name_m] and Ru.

[name_m]Casper[/name_m] doesn’t fit to me. [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] I think has negative connotations associated with it. It’s really not a nice animal and will make your child seem wild and aggressive.

[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] is ok but I dislike the ln as fn trend and it falls right into it.

[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] or [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] would be my choices from your list.

Suggestions:
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] (personally much prefer over [name_m]Casper[/name_m])
[name_m]Hawk[/name_m]
[name_u]Sterling[/name_u]
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] (too close to [name_m]Jed[/name_m]…?)
[name_m]Jethro[/name_m]
[name_m]Forest[/name_m]
[name_u]Grady[/name_u]

Definitely [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m].

My favourite from your list is [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m]. I also like pp suggestion of [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]. Others…

[name_m]Birch[/name_m]
[name_m]Piers[/name_m]
[name_m]Jago[/name_m]
[name_u]Cedar[/name_u]
[name_m]Burke[/name_m]

I think [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] fits best.

I like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] with [name_m]Jed[/name_m] best (and as a name in general), but I’m not sure how it would work in real life. So I’d have to say [name_m]Casper[/name_m].

[name_m]Casper[/name_m] is my favorite, though I like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] and it might be a better fit with [name_m]Jed[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] and it actually sounds great with [name_m]Jed[/name_m], but I think it’s more wearable as a nickname or middle name. Maybe a name that means wolf? I guess [name_m]Zev[/name_m] might be too matchy with [name_m]Jed[/name_m]…

I dunno… I vote [name_m]Casper[/name_m]!

I’m curious as to what name you initially had picked. [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] would be my pick from your list

I like [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] with [name_m]Jed[/name_m].

I like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] best from your list  You might also like [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], [name_m]Ramsey[/name_m].

Oooh I really like [name_m]Ramsey[/name_m].

We had the name [name_m]Leo[/name_m] picked [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Vaughn[/name_m] and [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m], but with a friend picking [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and seeing its on the rise I’m drifting away from it.

I kinda like the [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] trend, [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] was my grandparents name and mothers maiden name. I had it on the list for #1 but it seemed too unusable at the time. But Mum would prefer a boy named [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] to honor her name as she hates her first name.

What about [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]?

I really love [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] with [name_m]Jed[/name_m]. [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] is really cool

In place of [name_m]Leo[/name_m], what about [name_m]Eli[/name_m] or [name_m]Levi[/name_m]?

I love most of them! I’m not the hugest [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] fan, but I really like [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m], and I adore [name_m]Casper[/name_m]. So that gets my vote, obviously. I’ve been swooning over him for the past couple of months.

I would love to see you fit [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] in either as a first or middle because it has so much family significance. I do know a little [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] and it’s a great name on him.
