Which E name?

We’re down to these four E names for our baby girl, which is your favorite and why? We’re also still looking for good Hebrew names, although we really like [name]Adira[/name]. What do you think? Has to go with brothers [name]Colin[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Thatcher[/name] & [name]Philip[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name] [name]Noam[/name].

I’m sorry, my poll never posted. These are the four names:

[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adira[/name]
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Adira[/name]
[name]Elise[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]
[name]Elinor[/name] [name]Adira[/name]

The middle names I put there are by no means final, just ones we’re considering. Sorry again!

I like [name]Elinor[/name] [name]Adira[/name] best. [name]Elise[/name] would be my second pick. I don’t care much for [name]Elodie[/name] as it sounds too stuffy with your sibset. [name]Elena[/name] isn’t really my style.

I would go with [name]Elise[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]. I love [name]Miriam[/name], and I’m not really a fan of [name]Adira[/name]. I think [name]Elena[/name] [name]Miriam[/name] would also be lovely. I like both [name]Elodie[/name] and [name]Elinor[/name]/[name]Eleanor[/name], but I don’t think [name]Elodie[/name] sounds great with your sons’ names and [name]Elinor[/name]/[name]Eleanor[/name] doesn’t match either of the two middle names to me.

[name]Elise[/name] [name]Miriam[/name] is my favourite. [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adira[/name] is in close second.

As an afterthought, have you considered [name]Eliana[/name]? It’s Hebrew and begins with E.

i’m all for [name]Elise[/name]. I like the name [name]Elise[/name] [name]Marie[/name]!

[name]Elena[/name] is my favorite, followed by [name]Elise[/name].
I like the suggestion of [name]Eliana[/name].
[name]Esther[/name] is a little different style than your other names, but its one of my top E names. I can totally picture [name]Colin[/name], [name]Philip[/name] and [name]Esther[/name] as a sibset.

[name]Elinor[/name] is my favourite, followed by [name]Elodie[/name]. I love the middle name [name]Miriam[/name], though (more than [name]Adira[/name]).

1 [name]Elinor[/name] [name]Adira[/name]
2 [name]Elise[/name] [name]Miriam[/name]

I think the two names above are a great “match” for [name]Colin[/name] and [name]Philip[/name]'s sister.

I like [name]Elise[/name] [name]Miriam[/name] best!

I really like [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adira[/name] with [name]Colin[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Thatcher[/name] and [name]Philip[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name] [name]Noam[/name]! [name]Elinor[/name] [name]Adira[/name] would be my second choice.

Good luck!

Thanks so much for all your comments! I’m sorry for not specifying, but each of our kids have a first name with the first letter of a deceased relative. Then a Hebrew middle name, and finally a fun, very different middle name. We’re looking for an E name to honor an [name]Edward[/name] as well as Hebrew names. The Hebrew names are NOT set in stone so PLEASE feel free to suggest. Please keep your opinions coming!

I can’t see any of your E names :frowning: But I really like [name]Adira[/name]. So pretty!

[name]Elena[/name] & elodie are lovely

I think [name]Elinor[/name] or [name]Elise[/name] work best with your sibset because of the I and L sounds that go with [name]Colin[/name] and [name]Philip[/name]. [name]Adira[/name] is okay, but I like [name]Miriam[/name] better. Here are a few more suggestions:

[name]Elinor[/name] [name]Bethany[/name]
[name]Elinor[/name] [name]Naomi[/name]
[name]Elinor[/name] [name]Anais[/name]
[name]Elinor[/name] [name]Odelia[/name]
[name]Elinor[/name] [name]Susannah[/name]

[name]Elise[/name] [name]Ruth[/name]
[name]Elise[/name] [name]Davina[/name]
[name]Elisa[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Elise[/name] [name]Mahalia[/name]
[name]Elise[/name] [name]Danielle[/name]

I think [name]Elodie[/name] and [name]Elinor[/name] work really well with [name]Colin[/name] and [name]Philip[/name], actually, but if you’re looking for more options, what about:
[name]Esme[/name] (I think this is really sweet with [name]Colin[/name] and [name]Philip[/name]!)
[name]Eowyn[/name] (probably to fantastical next to the more classic [name]Colin[/name] and [name]Philip[/name], but I do like it, and the nn [name]Winnie[/name])

I don’t know a ton about Hebrew names, but I do love [name]Ayelet[/name]! I have heard it’s quite dated in [name]Israel[/name] but I can’t help loving it myself. I think [name]Talia[/name] is also very pretty. I do like [name]Adira[/name], though–I think [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adira[/name] and [name]Elinor[/name] [name]Adira[/name] are both very pretty. I think I saw somewhere that [name]Adaya[/name] is also Hebrew? I think something like [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adaya[/name] or [name]Elinor[/name] [name]Adaya[/name] would be adorable. I also like [name]Esme[/name] [name]Adaya[/name] a lot.

Good luck!

I love [name]Elise[/name] [name]Miriam[/name] and [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adira[/name], so beautiful!

I like [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adira[/name]! Pretty!

I like [name]Elodie[/name] [name]Adira[/name] the most

Esmerald Or Esmerald
[name]Elizabeth[/name] Or [name]Elisabeth[/name]
[name]Eva[/name] Or [name]Eve[/name]
[name]Ella[/name] or [name]Elle[/name]
[name]Emily[/name] or [name]Emmalee[/name] or [name]Emma[/name]-lee or [name]Emilee[/name]
That’s all the E names I can think of off the top of my head
