Which 'Ev' name?

Which name do people prefer, Evarist or [name_m]Everard[/name_m]? I am struggling to choose between the two. The former is actually an old Greek name but I am worried it will be heard as and confused with [name_u]Everest[/name_u]. The second name I am worried may be confused for the more common form, [name_u]Everett[/name_u] which I don’t like so much. I would appreciate any thoughts, thanks :))

Evarist or [name_m]Everard[/name_m]?

Fixed your poll for you, it needs to be on its own line

I vote Evarist. It feels less heavy than [name_m]Everard[/name_m], and a little fresher. I do think people could mishear it as [name_u]Everest[/name_u], though.

I much prefer the sound of Evarist over [name_m]Everard[/name_m], but I think the confusion with [name_u]Everest[/name_u] would get annoying. Still, it gets my vote.

I never saw [name_m]Everard[/name_m] before, but it’s an interesting name! Evarist reminds me of Evaristo, which is very dated name where I live. [name_m]Everard[/name_m] sounds adventurous and more modern.

I voted Evarist, but I prefer [name_u]Everest[/name_u].
