Which form of Adrian?

On my earlier post, [name_u]Austen[/name_u] and [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] for girls?, most people were saying I was better off just going with [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] instead of [name_m]Adrian[/name_m]. The reason why I prefer the [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] spelling is that it is the name of the street I grew up on. Knowing that, which do you prefer, [name_m]Adrian[/name_m], [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], [name_f]Adrianne[/name_f], or [name_f]Adriana[/name_f]?

Also, I am still wanting opinions on [name_u]Austen[/name_u] for a girl with the possible nn [name_m]Tenny[/name_m]. I’m hoping that [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] makes it usable on a girl.

Final thing. What do you think of the sibset [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] (m or f) and [name_u]Austen[/name_u] (f). I think [name_u]Austen[/name_u] for a girl make work when using another unisex name like [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. Plus, [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Austen[/name_u] are both surnames of famous authors, [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u]. Since [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] was actually a girl, would it make more sense for [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] to also be a girl? All thoughts appreciated. Thank you.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] in all of its spellings. My favorite is [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] or [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], but I know a female [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] and if that’s what you prefer why not!
[name_f]Adriana[/name_f] is a different name for me because I would pronounce it Au-dri-aunnah unless corrected, losing that long A that I like.

[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] became a girls name when [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] on Scrubs was on TV. Also another cute unisex name that I like, but I prefer it for boys. I think it’s a nice sibset.

My first choice is [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] and second choice is [name_f]Adriana[/name_f]. To me [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] for a girl just seems off.

I think [name_u]Austen[/name_u] for a girl could work.

I like [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Austen[/name_u] as a set only if [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is male. It’s a little too much if both are females [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f].

[name_u]Austen[/name_u] and [name_u]Eliot[/name_u] are masculine. I think people would assume you have sons rather than daughters.

[name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] followed up by [name_f]Adriana[/name_f], I’d immediately assume that an [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] was male, she’d most likely get tired having to correct people.
I can see [name_u]Austen[/name_u] on a girl, though I dislike nn [name_m]Tenny[/name_m] and prefer it as a middle name.
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] is popular for boys right now and doesn’t seem unisex to me.

[name_m]Adrian[/name_m] is more pleasing to the eye than [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]. Bonus points that it was your childhood street!

I wouldn’t get too hung up on ppl assuming she’s a boy. What does it matter if it’s the spelling you prefer and has sentimental value.

I think [name_u]Austen[/name_u] can work for a girl, especially with the -en ending.

[name_m]Adrian[/name_m] can also work, but that spelling seems more masculine to me even though I understand the meaning behind it in your situation. If you want to stay close to the spelling, I suggest [name_u]Adrien[/name_u] like another berry did!

As far as [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] goes, I automatically think of it as a boys name. Though I do think it could be girly given the nickname [name_f]Elli[/name_f].

[name_u]Austen[/name_u] & [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] go great together as siblings no matter the gender!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helped

My favorites for you are [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Adriana[/name_f]. [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] for a girl would cause more confusion than I would prefer, but [name_f]Adriana[/name_f] is a nice way to preserve the connection to your street.
