I don’t think of [name_f]Alice[/name_f] as sounding pretty so much as charming, but maybe they are the same thing?

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] I find extremely unappealing, though I enjoy most color names so prefer [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f], but even [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] sounds more striking than pretty. Perhaps because of its similarity to [name_f]Starlet[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is thought of as pretty, [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and all those associations. It seems a bit overwrought to me, like it might be hard to be a less than stellar looking [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

So for prettiness I would go for [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
