They all surpass my popularity threshold, which is no name given to more than 1000 babies where I live. But to be honest there are loads of far less popular names I probably wouldn’t use. My ideal name is out of the top 1000 altogether.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]. It’s beautiful and not as popular as some names, but it’s very popular in my circle of friends. I was pregnant with two of my friends and we all considered [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lily[/name_f] at some point.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (sadly [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are also two of my “short list” names. sigh)

I think staying out of the US SS top 20 would be my rule. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] are names I would like, but are just too popular.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_u]Arya[/name_u], and [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. I would love to use [name_u]Avery[/name_u] for our daughter due in [name_f]April[/name_f], but I just feel like it is too popular.

Definitely [name_f]Aria[/name_f]. It somewhat clashes with my surname, but I’ve loved this one for years but it’s becoming soooo popular. [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is another one. It’s never been a great favorite of mine, but was on my radar for a bit…then The Fault in Our Stars became popular and everyone thinks they are original for having a little [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Lol.

Sadly, [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is one of my favorites, but it’s just way too popular. I would still use [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], but it’s almost to the point where it’s too popular.
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]! I’ve loved this name since I was young, but now it’s so popular and common that it loses its magic for me :(. Also [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], and [name_f]Lia[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Lia[/name_f] but I don’t like that it would be associated with the common biblical name [name_f]Leah[/name_f]).
I went to school with so many girls named [name_f]Amber[/name_f] and [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] it was ridiculous.
Well I would still seriously consider all of these, but the popularity gives me some hesitation.
