Can’t decide. [name_f]Mila[/name_f] or [name_f]Micaela[/name_f]??
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] is way better than [name_f]Micaela[/name_f], in my opinion.
While I don’t like to say a name is “better,” [name_f]Mila[/name_f] is fresher. It’s currently racing up the charts, while [name_f]Micaela[/name_f] (which is definitely better haha spelled [name_f]Michaela[/name_f]) exploded about ten years ago and sounds somewhat tired. One of [name_f]Mila[/name_f]'s endearing qualities, in my opinion, is that it sounds great on any age female.
To me Micaela is pronounced mi-ca-el-a (mee-kah-ELL-ah), four syllables. Basically, the spelling to me indicates Spanish pronunciation - it was my great grandmother’s name. See Meaning, origin and history of the name Micaela - Behind the Name
Michaela is more clearly English pronunciation to me, or Mikayla. I agree with pp that Mila is fresher than Michaela. And in my biased opinion Micaela the Spanish name is better than both of them!
I definitely prefer [name_f]Mila[/name_f]!
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] for me! Sweet and also alluring.
[name_f]Micaela[/name_f] feels extremely dated to me…like early 90’s.
