Which is better?

We have a daughter already named [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]. We have another little girl coming in a few months. We are stuck between [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] or [name_f]Chesney[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. Totally different! I love [name_f]Chesney[/name_f] but worry people might think “[name_m]Kenny[/name_m]”? Is [name_u]Riley[/name_u] too popular now? Am I overthinking this?? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I slightly prefer [name_u]Riley[/name_u] to [name_f]Chesney[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Riley[/name_u] has more of the same vibe as [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], whereas [name_f]Chesney[/name_f] seems a bit “out there”. If they only thing holding you back from using [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is its popularity, then I feel like [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is the best choice, I wouldn’t worry about the popularity.

I also wouldn’t have thought of “[name_m]Kenny[/name_m]” for [name_f]Chesney[/name_f], they’re totally different. If you’re more set on [name_f]Chesney[/name_f], maybe consider similar names? Either way, it’s a good name, and go with your gut feeling.

[name_u]Casey[/name_u]
[name_u]Courtney[/name_u]
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]
[name_u]Chelsea[/name_u]

[name_u]Riley[/name_u] definitely matches [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], but that said I prefer [name_f]Chesney[/name_f] a bit more – probably since I tend to prefer unusual names! If you want something unusual, go with [name_f]Chesney[/name_f]. It’s pretty similar to names like [name_u]Chelsea[/name_u] and the others listed by river_dweller, and still holds its own in comparison. However, I think you can’t go wrong either way, so I also vote go with your gut!

I prefer [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Paige[/name_f] to [name_f]Chesney[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f], [name_f]Chesney[/name_f] reminds me of [name_u]Chelsea[/name_u] more than [name_m]Kenny[/name_m] and I would be more concerned with that being confused. [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is pretty popular though.

Hmmmm… not sure I like either one with [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]. I def think of [name_m]Kenny[/name_m] [name_f]Chesney[/name_f] when I hear [name_f]Chesney[/name_f]. [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is nicer, but it feels too matchy-matchy with [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]. I love [name_f]Paige[/name_f] though! What about [name_f]Paige[/name_f] [name_u]Riley[/name_u]? That’d be delicious. [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] and [name_f]Paige[/name_f] sound nice together
