I chose [name_f]Maia[/name_f] because I tend to like names that seem more uncommon.

I like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] as opposed to [name_u]Marlo[/name_u], and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] as opposed to [name_f]Madeline[/name_f].

I voted for [name_f]Molly[/name_f]. It’s cute; there is a history of Mollys with spunk and determination. To me [name_f]Molly[/name_f] is a cutie, but she means business and wants to be taken seriously.

I prefer the Lyn/Lenn ending too - the [name_u]French[/name_u] spelling is definitely “lenn” not “line” but I agree it is trickier to spell [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f].

@EloiseT Thank you so much! I was unsure how that spelling was intended to be pronounced. It is important to me that I am able to pronounce people’s names correctly, or until I know their personal preference, I at least want to be able to pronounce the name well and not butcher it. I am in the US, but have many family members who are from other countries, so I think I am extra sensitive to correct pronunciation of names because of this.
