This first and foremost. Grace differs from mercy in that grace is a gift we receive from God, even though we don’t deserve that gift in our own merit. Mercy is being exempt from a consequence we did deserve.
This is the second thing I think of, especially when I picture Grace Kelly.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] makes me think of [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], so I suppose elegance and smoothness of movement. But really there’s no reason why the name [name_f]Grace[/name_f] might apply to all of these at the same time. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is a popular name, so I think no one will presume any certain reason why a parent might have chosen it.
I think of kindness that [name_m]God[/name_m] shows to people. I always relate it heavily to religion and often find the people I’ve met with the name [name_f]Grace[/name_f] are also religious or come from religious families.
