We have a baby girl on the way (about two months left to go) and we have been thinking about calling her [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]. It’s not set in stone but that seems to be the one name we keep coming back to.
I like the fact that we have options for nicknames ([name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]). It feels a bit fresher than [name_f]Rose[/name_f], although I think that is a lovely name too. Our son is called [name_u]Rex[/name_u] :-). We are not bothered by the association with the [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_m]Stone[/name_m]!
So I am now desperately trying to think of middles that sound good with [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]. I like nature names (she will be born in the summer) and I also like many vintage and Latin origin /Italian names. Below is a list of a few we have been considering. Our last name starts with a T (so putting an ‘A’ middle name after [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] would spell out RAT which is probably not a good idea!)
I’d really value your opinions on these combinations and any other suggestions that you think sound good with [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]. We are open-minded and I like off-beat names too. We are actually planning on giving her two middle names (as that’s what we did with my son and in my family in general) so if anyone is feeling creative and has suggestions of two middle names then that would be awesome :-). I’ve been trying to think of one syllable nature names…

I really really like [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] with the mn’s you chose. [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], & [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] are my favorites. I think [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] sound better reversed.
First off love [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]! And I think that your son’s name is pretty awesome too. From the ones you posted I prefer, [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] are my favorites from your list. [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is a good combination. Some other possibilities:
I encourage you to use [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]. It’s gorgeous name (I prefer [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] much more, but still, [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f] is beautiful) and I love creativity and individuality.
