I liked [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] because it was longer. The shorter mn just leave something to be desired, when matched with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] is too sing-songy, and I thought [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is too simple with something spunky like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

I like both [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I voted for [name_f]Jane[/name_f] because it’s a bit more fun.

[name_f]Marie[/name_f] seems overused as a middle, and with the e sound after both [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Marie[/name_f], I disliked the look and sound. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I never liked and prefer [name_u]Jay[/name_u](bird connection) and [name_f]Jade[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] gives me a bad taste in my mouth b/c I knew an [name_f]Ellenor[/name_f] I strongly disliked. Out of those, [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] sounds best with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] it is just not my taste, no offense.

I would have voted [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but it doesn’t flow as well as [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I strongly dislike [name_f]Marie[/name_f].

Thanks everyone! I put [name_f]Marie[/name_f] as an middle name option because it is my mother’s middle name, and it is her middle name because it is my great-aunt’s name. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] I like but DH not so much. She will probably be [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] if she is in fact a she. I appreciate all the input!
