[name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Job[/name]
OR
[name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Crewe[/name]
IF we went with [name]Job[/name], we’d probably call the baby [name]Joby[/name] (jo-bee) as a nn. We love the name/story behind [name]Job[/name], as he was a man who was persecuted, but came out a victor.
[name]Crewe[/name] means [name]Chariot[/name] in Latin, and [name]Marcellus[/name] means “young warrior” in Latin, so that kind of goes together, as well.
He’d be joining big sister [name]Amar[/name]é ([name]Amma[/name]-[name]RAY[/name]) [name]Elyse[/name].
I like [name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Job[/name]
I prefer [name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Job[/name] also. I love the Biblical significance, and I think they sound nice together as well.
I like [name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Job[/name]! It sounds very classic
[name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Job[/name]! [name]Love[/name] [name]Joby[/name]! Very cute and I think the story of [name]Job[/name] is a great inspiration.
I vastly prefer [name]Marcellus[/name] [name]Job[/name]
Really liked the input, and I was pleasantly surprised that [name]Job[/name] was so favored. Other places I’ve been have been hard on me for choosing such an “off” name, but we love it.
Thanks for the viewpoints–good point that [name]Crewe[/name] is too preppy for [name]Marcellus[/name].
Last question–does anyone think [name]Job[/name] [name]Marcellus[/name] sounds okay? I am just wondering… if we call our boy [name]Joby[/name] (nn), would it be easier for him later in life to have [name]Job[/name] as his first name?
[name]Job[/name] is my favorite of the two.
