Sooo stuck on baby boy names! My husband and I love the name “[name_u]Hunter[/name_u]” but when telling people, it doesn’t seem like the response is so great. It’s not that uncommon of a name, so I don’t get it. I think it’s masculine and not too popular or too unique.
[name_u]Chase[/name_u] is another close option, but we think it’s the weaker of the two names.
Both are nice names. I think [name_u]Chase[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] flows better, but if you prefer [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] then go with that!
I think [name_u]Chase[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] flows better too, but the way I see it, no one ever really calls first name and middle name together… so Ii’m just focused more on the better of the two first names. SO tough!
I prefer [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], but with your middle I prefer [name_u]Chase[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. Really though, go with the first name you prefer. Friends and family will warm up to it once they associate it with your son.
They have a similar vibe to me, I could easily see brothers [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Chase[/name_u]. With [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], i definitely prefer [name_u]Chase[/name_u].
I like both but prefer [name_u]Hunter[/name_u]. It’s really not a big deal that [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] both end in -er. Like you said, people rarely say the first and middle name together so what is really important is choosing the name you like best.
Both are great strong unique names. [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] is on my top three list as well. I agree with revlon, I prefer [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] but [name_u]Chase[/name_u] goes better with [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. Both are great choices!!
I like the look and sound of [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], but I hate the meaning. it makes me think of shooting, and I can’t block that reference.
So I much prefer [name_u]Chase[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. Not that short names need a nn, but you could always call him [name_m]Chaz[/name_m].
I think [name_u]Chase[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] flows better than [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. But, I completely agree that [name_u]Chase[/name_u] sounds like a weaker name. So, I’d go [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] unless you plan on using the middle name frequently.
I almost named my last boy [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], I’m fairly partial to it. But I also really like [name_u]Chase[/name_u], and think it goes WITH [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] really well. Both are good. Sorry that’s probably no help. ha
What about [name_m]Hunt[/name_m]? [name_m]Hunt[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] sounds great. More unusual but great feel. [name_u]Chase[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] does sound nice, but I think I prefer [name_m]Hunt[/name_m].
Personally, I like [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] better! And I think [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] sounds good together. However, at the end of the day go with what you and your husband prefer.
