That’s such a good question! I think I would go with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] & [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Soph[/name_f] & [name_u]Lu[/name_u]. They both have positive meanings, while Molly’s meaning is highly contested but potentially less positive. But gosh, I do love [name_f]Molly[/name_f] so much.

Have you considered [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]? I love the idea of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] & [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] as sisters! That would make me absolutely swoon.

@somemelodioussonnet Oh I love this, and your reasoning behind the choice! [name_f]Molly[/name_f] is so sweet, I agree!

I have considered [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] because I love it so much!! I’m hesitant to use it though because it is my dad’s nickname for my mom. She dislikes her entire name, and she wishes it was [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] (she also likes Margot!) instead. Only my dad calls her [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]. So I wonder I should just avoid naming a future daughter that and leave it for the two of them? She’s even listed as [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] in his phone! So many questions ! Luckily, I have plenty of time!

Thank you again!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_u]Josie[/name_u]. Followed by [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!

And with [name_f]Eve[/name_f] as a middle, my favorites are [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] (spunky and cute) or [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] (refined and sweet).

[name_f]My[/name_f] personal preference would be [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] because it is cute but also a little sophisticated.

Maybe… (sorry for any repeats)

@whimsyberry Thank you so much! I think [name_u]Josie[/name_u] is simultaneously cute, spunky, and cool because it’s not a name I personally hear often. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] make me happy, and I don’t personally know anyone with those names.

I never thought to pair [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] with [name_f]Eve[/name_f], thank you! I’m definitely adding this combination to my list.

I’ve always loved [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] so much, and I think it’s beautiful with [name_f]Eve[/name_f]!

Thank you again!

@shanade213 Thank you so much! [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is one of my top contenders, I’ve always loved it, and I agree with all your thoughts on it completely.

You have so many beautiful suggestions here! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are:

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] (I think this name is so sweet and underrated!)
[name_f]Roxie[/name_f] (The amount of spunk in this name is unreal. I can fully picture a baby, toddler, teen, young adult, and older woman named [name_f]Roxie[/name_f]. [name_u]Love[/name_u]!)
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] (This one gets a bad rap, and I understand why but I really don’t think it should. I just love it!)
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] (This is growing on me.)
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] (So sweet and fun!)
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] (It has a beautiful meaning.) +
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] (This is beautiful and underrated. The story in the Bible is so sad, but the meaning is so pretty.)

Thank you again!

[name_f]My[/name_f] individual favourites from your list are:

[name_u]Frankie[/name_u]: Adorable on a girl! Spunky, headstrong, passionate, and full of giggles and laughter, is how I picture a [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. :steam_locomotive: :phone:

[name_u]Josie[/name_u]: I like [name_u]Josie[/name_u] because of her vintage, cottagecore, [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables, dated-cute vibes. She reminds me of old jazz music, raspberry ice cream, parasols, muddy hems of lace dresses, and hibiscus flowers! :hibiscus: :ice_cream: :strawberry:

[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]: I love the connection to the [name_m]Lion[/name_m], the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a really sweet, glowy, floating, graceful name! :cloud_with_snow: :candle: :star:

[name_f]Gracie[/name_f]: I prefer [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] on her own is pretty too. I like [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] because of the ballet vibes, and also her friendly, stylish, sweet feel. :ballet_shoes: :icecream: :carousel_horse:

I personally wouldn’t pair [name_f]Eve[/name_f] with any name that ends in a long E sound because I think the names run into each other, but in general, I think [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is a pretty middle. I like [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f], and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] the best!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]! [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] has such an awesome vibe . I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] would be fine to use even though your dog is named [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], they have distinctive enough sounds.

Some other names:
[name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_u]Clemmie[/name_u]
[name_f]Carrie[/name_f]

@OctaviaMay Thank you so much! I absolutely love your descriptions of these. To be honest, they make me like the names even more. I completely understand where you are coming from with not using [name_f]Eve[/name_f] as a middle for any of these names because of the endings. I may do something like:

[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]

[name_u]Frankie[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f], and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] are so ssweet though!

I love both [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] so much. I get why many people prefer [name_f]Grace[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]. I just think I can see myself with a [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] more than I can a [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Plus, if I named a daughter [name_f]Grace[/name_f], I would probably just end up calling her [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] all the time.

Thank you again!

@LeafTree Thank you so much! I agree with your comments on [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. It’s one that I’ve loved for a while, although not as long as [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], for example! I think it’s a name that I will have on my list still when I am ready to have children. (Even though I’d only use it for a little girl.) There are other names on my list that are on my list, and then off again and back on. I think [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] could be on it permanently.

I really appreciate your input on [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. I am starting to think it might work!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your list are:

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Suki[/name_f] +
[name_f]Carrie[/name_f]

Thank you again!

Ahhh gosh I love your whole list :two_hearts:

[name_f]My[/name_f] absolute favourites are [name_f]Lily[/name_f] + [name_f]Evie[/name_f]! I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] she’s such a sweet floral name that is timeless and has a friendly girl next door feel. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is also a favourite of mine she feels soft, whimsical and romantic. To complete my top five I would add the delightfully sweet [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], the adorable [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] and finally very elegant [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

So my top five are
[name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] + [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]

[name_f]Eve[/name_f] is a beautiful incredibly classic name with an alluring feel. I think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] feels classic and elegant. But I also think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is gorgeous incredibly sophisticated.

Some other ideas…

[name_f]Marnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Betty[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Gracie[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].

[name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] sounds pretty, and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] does too.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your list is [name_f]Molly[/name_f]! I think it’s very cute for a baby but still works well for an adult. It’s easy to say and spell. Most people have probably heard the name before but I don’t actually know any Molly’s so it’s not overused. [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] sounds pretty!

@tori101 Thank you so much! I absolutely love all your favorites, especially [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I never thought to pair those together! I pretty much love [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] equally. Although I might have to throw [name_f]Eve[/name_f] out as a middle name because I love [name_f]Evie[/name_f] so much as a first name. In my family, there would likely be a couple different pronunciations of those the names in particular, but especially [name_f]Eva[/name_f] because we have a couple native Spanish speakers. That doesn’t bother me at all. Sounds within names change when spoken in different languages and dialects. I think it’s unique and special when this happens. I really wouldn’t feel the need to correct it just because a few family members may not pronounce the name the way I would. [name_m]Just[/name_m] some thoughts!

Of your beautiful suggestions, my favorites are:

[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] (:heart_eyes::face_holding_back_tears:)
[name_u]Ivy[/name_u] +
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] (I think this one in particular is so underrated! )

@silverfiregirly Thank you so much! I really love all your favorites. There is something so sweet about [name_f]Molly[/name_f] to me. [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] are so joyful, and I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is cute but also sophisticated.

Thank you again!

:butterfly::white_heart:

@AmyVermeersch Thank you so much! I really love [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and agree with everything you’ve said. [name_f]Molly[/name_f] is also very special to me because it would be an honor name for my mom and grandma. So I think it stands out for that reason! I’ve met a few Mollys, but I know it’s not a very common name anymore… it’s classic, but it’s not one that is everywhere right now i really like that about it!

Thank you again!
