I decided to name my future child after my sister and my father who passed away recently. His name was [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and her name was [name_f]Charli[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u]. Unlike my parents I want her nickname to be [name_f]Charli[/name_f] not her full name. I was just wondering which flowed better?
[name_f]Charlene[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u].
I’m leaning towards [name_f]Charlene[/name_f] but would like more opinions.
Also wouldn’t mind other suggestions for full feminine name with a nickname of [name_f]Charli[/name_f].
I think that [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] flows better just based on sound alone. Both are pretty names though and [name_f]Charlene[/name_f] is nice and underused (vs. the very popular [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
Would you consider [name_f]Charlize[/name_f]? I think [name_f]Charlize[/name_f] is stunning. Obviously associated with the actress, but I don’t think that’s such a bad thing.
I feel that [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] both looks and sounds nicer than [name_f]Charlene[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], which I find extremely dated (1950’s/60’s). I’m with toronto87 - [name_f]Charlize[/name_f] is a lovely name and namesake for [name_m]Charles[/name_m].
