Skandar gets my vote, it has the exact same coolness factor as [name]Drake[/name]. Can you find a name with an animal connection for the middle, or have you already decided on one?

Thank you ottilie. Skandar and [name]Caedmon[/name] are actually my top two right now. We haven’t decided on a middle name yet, and neither name have to have an animal connection but it would be fun.
I quite like [name]Colt[/name] (but I think more of guns instead of a young horse), [name]Leonidas[/name] and even Felinus.
I voted for [name]Damian[/name] because it is a favorite of mine. I don’t care about its association with that stupid movie. The true meaning of the name is great and I love the myth behind it. [name]Damian[/name] and [name]Drake[/name] sound handsome together! [name]Leon[/name] would have gotten my next vote. I love the lion association.
I was also torn between Skandar and [name]Caedmon[/name], but went for Skandar since it matches so well with [name]Drake[/name].
I think [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Theo[/name] are way too soft to pair with [name]Drake[/name], and [name]Peregrine[/name] is too fussy.
I love [name]Kieran[/name] and [name]Theo[/name]!

I voted for [name]Leon[/name] because I think [name]Drake[/name] and [name]Leon[/name] are lovely together. If you do go for [name]Damien[/name]/[name]Damian[/name] I prefer the spelling [name]Damian[/name].
I went with Skandar, but I also really like [name]Leon[/name], [name]Kieran[/name], and [name]Knox[/name] with [name]Drake[/name].
I voted for [name]Knox[/name]. I think that [name]Drake[/name] and [name]Knox[/name] are very handsome together. My favorite of the bunch was [name]Caedmon[/name] but I do not care for the names that start with the “k” sound as [name]Drake[/name] ends with “k”. When I said, “[name]Drake[/name]! [name]Caedmon[/name]!” out loud to myself (as if calling them in for dinner, etc.) it was a bit hard to say.

I voted Skandar. I remember it from an earlier post of yours too. I really love it. I think it matches well with [name]Drake[/name] without being overly matchy. It’s very strong and handsome.
I voted Skander. I’ve never heard of it before but it matches [name]Drake[/name] perfectly.
I found it too hard to vote, balancing sounds, meanings and popularity, so here are my thoughts 
So excited to see [name]Caedmon[/name], which I love but can’t use due to past-pet-associations! They are both manly in the best way and tick the ‘unusual’ box. However, whilst [name]Caedmon[/name] makes me think ‘history’, [name]Drake[/name] makes me think ‘trendy’.
Skandar is fantastic, and I’ve not come across it before (like an abbreviated Iskandar?). But it seems much longer than [name]Drake[/name] and I might prefer fewer shared letters/sounds.
[name]Leon[/name] is the right length, with animal meaning, but softer and certainly not unusual. I think it would work.
[name]Theo[/name] is a long-time fave of mine, and I think the sound complements [name]Drake[/name] nicely. However, it is more common than his sibling’s name.
I would avoid [name]Damian[/name]/[name]Damien[/name] because of duplicating the Ds.
[name]Knox[/name] fits sound-wise, is short, punchy and trendy like [name]Drake[/name], but oh-so-Brangelina 
[name]Kieran[/name] sounds OK, but it’s much, much more popular and has far less character.
[name]Peregrine[/name] - agree with [name]Blade[/name] that it seems fussy in comparison.
[name]Rowan[/name] - agree with pp that it is very soft in comparison, and quite feminine, not very ‘[name]Drake[/name]’!
