Which name for my heroine?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all;
I’ve got a few possible names for my heroine…she’s couragous, smart, quick-witted, a perfectionist and extremely caring to those who need protecting. Currently she’s known as [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Marley[/name_u]’ Augstroze but all the rest of my characters have super feminine or masculine names. The one who named the heroine is called [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] and she’s a literary fanatic so ideally I’ve choosen names of character’s from literature. Her twin brother is called [name_m]Ebenezer[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]’.

[name_u]Marley[/name_u] has also been;

  • [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] ‘[name_m]Will[/name_m]’
  • Lysianassa ‘[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]’
  • [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] ‘Merit’ or ‘[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]’
  • [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Jo[/name_u]’
  • [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] ‘[name_m]Henri[/name_m]’

Suggestions are welcome; ideally it would also be classical, long with boyish nickname possibilities. I also want something unusual. I also really like the nicknames Ebba, Edda, Lumi and Della but I want longer names. For these I’ve considered Elisabeth, Edith and Adeline

I think [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f] and [name_m]Ebenezer[/name_m] sound good together as siblings :slight_smile:

[name_f]Endellion[/name_f] is a good full name for [name_f]Della[/name_f] or [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] but that’s more of a stretch
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] with the nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u] could work
and from my signature just because: [name_f]Iselle[/name_f] ([name_u]Izzy[/name_u] or [name_f]Elle[/name_f]) and [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] ([name_f]Maggie[/name_f], [name_f]Magda[/name_f], [name_f]Lena[/name_f], Leyna, [name_f]Alena[/name_f])

Thanks, I think [name_f]Endellion[/name_f] is cool but doesn’t work for her society.

Personally I like the sound of:
[name_f]Emeraude[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Maude[/name_f] or [name_m]Rude[/name_m])
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Minta[/name_f])
[name_f]Morrigan[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Morgan[/name_u])

I quite like [name_f]Emeraude[/name_f], I think I might use that. Thanks a lot :smiley:

[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] fits best in my eyes plus I think [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] would be a cute twin set :smiley:
