Which name for the nn Gia?

I have the following ideas for the nickname [name]Gia[/name]:
[name]Georgiana[/name]
[name]Gianna[/name]/[name]Giana[/name]
[name]Gabriela[/name]/[name]Gabriella[/name]
Or just [name]Gia[/name]?

Which do you prefer?

[name]Georgiana[/name] nn [name]Gia[/name] would be my first choice. It’s classic, elegant and stately.

gianna, or gia on it’s own

[name]Georgiana[/name] is my fave, then just [name]Gia[/name], then [name]Gabriella[/name], [name]Gianna[/name] is my least fave. All are nice to be honest though! I also like [name]Georgina[/name]

[name]Gianna[/name]. It’s beautiful and underused.

I really like [name]Georgiana[/name] nn [name]Gia[/name], but any of them would be lovely (except for [name]Gabriella[/name]- it’s not as intuitive). I know a [name]Virginia[/name] that goes by [name]Gia[/name], in case that appeals to you too.

[name]Just[/name] [name]Gia[/name] is lovely.

I know a [name]Georgia[/name] called [name]Gia[/name] sometimes.

I would just go with [name]Gia[/name] since it can stand on its own, unless you are particularly looking for a longer name. You also have the names [name]Giovanna[/name], [name]Georgia[/name], etc. that [name]Gia[/name] can be a nickname for. Out of the ones listed I’d go for [name]Georgiana[/name] and [name]Gabriela[/name].

I prefer just [name]Gia[/name]…but if you have to have a longer formal name…[name]Gianna[/name] or [name]Giovanna[/name] (which isn’t on your list, but I’d use [name]Gia[/name] as a nn for it).

I love [name]Gianna[/name]! So beautiful and underused!

I also really love [name]Gianetta[/name].

[name]Georgiana[/name]. [name]Love[/name], love, love [name]Georgiana[/name]! I thought you couldn’t use it, for some reason, though, when I suggested it on your first [name]Gia[/name] thread?

I completely agree with [name]Mischa[/name]! Also, [name]GeorGIA[/name] obviously, but [name]Georgiana[/name] has something extra special about it to me.

I love [name]Gia[/name]! I think just [name]Gia[/name] would be fine. If you must go for a longer name go with [name]Gianna[/name]. It is such a pretty name!

[name]Just[/name] [name]Gia[/name]!! Very cute.

I’m not a 100% a fan of it for my child, but I’ve put it up for consideration.

I like [name]Giana[/name] too-- it’s sweet, short, and realistic.

However my [name]FAVORITE[/name] way to get to [name]Gia[/name] by far is [name]Pelagia[/name]-- A Greek name which means “the sea.”

[name]Gianna[/name]! Or [name]Giuliana[/name]?

Ahh. I still love it. I think the Pride and Prejudice connection is beyond the best, but I keep forgetting you haven’t read that, so wouldn’t have the connection. :frowning:

Ahhhh, I seriously need to read that book!

[name]Gianna[/name] is lovely. Also [name]Georgia[/name] or Guia
