Either [name_m]Bear[/name_m] or [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] if you’re going for the nn [name_m]Bear[/name_m].
I like [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] best. Are you planning to use [name_m]Bear[/name_m] just as a family nn because I think it would be a hard name for most people to wear? e.g. Grumpy [name_m]Bear[/name_m], Grouchy as a bear, etc., but I can’t think of really positive associations.
Thank you for all the votes so far. [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] is ahead by a little.
Whitegardenia, we knew a [name_m]Bear[/name_m]. He loved his name. We knew him through his childhood and into early adult life. People always had very positive comments. Any name can be hard for someone to wear. [name_m]Even[/name_m] the most traditional names. You are not fond of the nickname, that is your opinion and everyone has a right to their own opinion.
Definitely [name_m]Espen[/name_m]! I find it much more interesting and dynamic than [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] and [name_u]Brett[/name_u], and I love your [name_m]Espen[/name_m] combo.
Not surprised. lol
[name_m]Espen[/name_m] [name_m]Rigby[/name_m] is more meaningful for us. Which makes it feel like it fits [name_m]Piers[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], [name_m]Tadhg[/name_m] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] better; they are all very meaningful.
I like just [name_m]Bear[/name_m] .
