Which naming experience would you rather have?

[name_m]Just[/name_m] for fun! Pick which experience you’d rather have when naming a baby!

  • A: You choose the name that you have loved ever since you were 5 years old.
  • B. You name your baby to honor a loved relative or admired historical figure.
  • C. You come to the birth with a list of names. Afterwards, you try calling your newborn by a few different names. One in particular seems to fit.
  • D. You choose a name with a significant meaning, based upon the circumstances in which you had the birth.
  • E. While you are seven months pregnant, you wake up with a name on your mind. You have never considered it before, but it suddenly feels meant to be.
  • F: You and your partner research names separately. When you report back your findings, you both realize that you have fallen in love with the same name.
  • G: You get to know your baby a few weeks after birth and choose a name based upon the personality that you’re already seeing.

This is probably going to be my experience, too. I’ll compromise on boys’ names, but not on honoring my family through [name_f]Kamala[/name_f] and Sanjana.

Tough one but I’d go with C

This is a tough choice! Ultimately, were going to make our own lists and see if we have any that we both agree on. Although I also like the idea of bringing a list to the hospital or waking up from a dream where the name suddenly came to you.
