I think the above work well with [name]Evan[/name]. I prefer [name]Finn[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] & [name]Rhys[/name] because I like those names best.
I picked these b/ they’re the [name]Sam[/name] length/style as [name]Evan[/name]
[name]Noah[/name]- Hebrew: rest, wandering
[name]Oliver[/name]- Latin: olive tree
[name]Evan[/name]- welsh: God is gracious
If your religious I’d pick [name]Oliver[/name] for the [name]Olive[/name] tree thing. [name]Both[/name] are semi-God related
If the olive tree thing confuses you I’d pick [name]Noah[/name]
Really either woul be great. I would wait till you see him them choose
I find most of your names very similar in sound to [name]Evan[/name]. I think these names work best with his name.
[name]Evan[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name] (continue the Welsh name theme)
[name]Evan[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Evan[/name] and [name]Conor[/name]
Let me preface this by saying I disagree with the prevailing opinion on this board that sibling names need to ‘match’. I think you should find a name you like, and worry less about how it compares with another name.
[name]Hudson[/name] - I love this name, but I think it’s a different style than [name]Evan[/name].
[name]Liam[/name] - Another favorite of mine, it matches [name]Evan[/name] well, in length and style.
[name]Callum[/name] - I’m so-so on this name, but it does match [name]Evan[/name] well.
[name]Alec[/name] - I think this is a nickname, and not weighty enough to be a formal name.
[name]Conor[/name] - I like [name]Conor[/name] alot, and it matches [name]Evan[/name] well.
[name]Colin[/name] - I like the name, but having the same ‘n’ sound at the end as [name]Evan[/name] may be too matchy for some people.
[name]Finn[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Finn[/name], one of my favs, but also has that ‘n’ sound.
[name]Graham[/name] - It’s surname-y like [name]Evan[/name], and they are a similar style, so they go well together. Not my fav name though.
[name]Grant[/name] - Similar to [name]Graham[/name], but I like it better.
[name]Noah[/name] - I like this name, but I dislike the biblical meaning, a plus for most people probably. I think it’s a good fit with [name]Evan[/name].
[name]Oliver[/name] - I want to like this name, but for some reason I don’t. I think it’s too matchy with [name]Evan[/name] because of the 'v’s.
[name]Preston[/name] - I just really hate this name.
[name]Rhys[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Rhys[/name]. I think it would be a great compliment to [name]Evan[/name].
[name]Sebastien[/name] - I’m so-so on [name]Sebastien[/name]. I think it’s too long to be a good match with [name]Evan[/name].
[name]Vaughn[/name] - I really like this name, but the v’s & n’s it shares with [name]Evan[/name] are too much.
Again, I wouldn’t let any worries about how the name compares to [name]Evan[/name] prevent me from choosing a name I really liked.
