I have a little cousin named [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] and I like the name. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] because I have liked it ever since [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] girls character [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and because it has a cool sound.
Voted [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]/[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] - for [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] - and [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] because it sounds dapper and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is just so lovely.
I love [name_u]Robin[/name_u] & [name_m]Raymond[/name_m]. [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is nice too and I like vintage sweet [name_u]Bobby[/name_u]. [name_m]Rob[/name_m]/[name_u]Robby[/name_u] aren’t for me though. [name_u]Bert[/name_u] is great if you can shake the [name_f]Sesame[/name_f] [name_m]Street[/name_m] association.
[name_m]Riordan[/name_m] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] are my favorite from the list. Others not on the list- [name_m]Rigby[/name_m], [name_u]Roan[/name_u]/[name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], [name_u]Riley[/name_u], [name_u]Reid[/name_u], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], [name_u]Rohan[/name_u].
I love [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]. It’s fiery and dashing and very underused. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] has the same qualities as [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], although [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] is creative and artistic whereas [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is adventurous and outdoorsy. [name_u]Ray[/name_u] and [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] are both jazzy and retro cool. The others fall somewhat flat with me.
I also like [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], [name_u]Reeve[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], and [name_u]Riley[/name_u].
I like [name_m]Roger[/name_m], [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u].
[name_m]Roger[/name_m] and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] mostly the images they bring because of their bearers that I’ve known.
[name_m]Rufus[/name_m] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] for the images their sounds evoke.
The others don’t really do anything to me.
I voted for:
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m]/[name_m]Rafael[/name_m]-I think this is such a cool, foreign yet familiar sounding name. I think I prefer it with a ‘ph’ though
[name_m]Robert[/name_m]/[name_m]Rob[/name_m]/[name_u]Robbie[/name_u]-Actually don’t like [name_m]Robert[/name_m]/[name_m]Rob[/name_m]/[name_u]Robbie[/name_u] at all, but [name_u]Robin[/name_u] is such a cool name!
[name_m]Rufus[/name_m]/[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]-[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] much, but [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] has this sort of vintage feel to it - I like it
[name_m]Ronald[/name_m]/[name_m]Ronald[/name_m]-Funny how letter arrangement can make such a difference. [name_m]Ronald[/name_m] feels old & clunky to me, yet [name_m]Roland[/name_m] is fresh & new.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]-This is such a cool, bold, playful name. It speaks ‘BOY’ to me!
I voted for [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]/[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] as I think they are all lovely however I’m not a fan of any of the others. My favourite R name overall that isn’t on this list has to be [name_m]Ronan[/name_m].
are my uncle’s two given names and while I don’t fancy them separately (especially [name_m]Ronald[/name_m]), I think the sound of them together is every bit as melodic as [name_f]Eugenia[/name_f] or [name_f]Eulalia[/name_f].
1 [name_m]Raphael[/name_m]
2 [name_m]Roland[/name_m]
3 [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]/[name_m]Rupert[/name_m] - I think I prefer [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] a tiny bit more!
