Which one is better?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone,
Thank you so much for your comments which are very helpful and useful.
I am thinking of 2 names: Radvin and [name_m]Arvin[/name_m] (Both are boy names)
I’ve already asked about Radvin but [name_m]Arvin[/name_m] is new in my list.
It would be great if you tell me whether [name_m]Arvin[/name_m] is somehow related to any word with a negative/ rude meaning either through rhyming or meaning or connotation, that can be used for teasing and bullying.
It would also great if you tell me which one sounds better for a boy name?
Regards

I can’t think of any connection to [name_m]Arvin[/name_m] with a rude meaning! I like both a lot, but I slightly prefer [name_m]Arvin[/name_m]. You can’t go wrong with either.

Both lovely names! [name_m]Arvin[/name_m] sounds very handsome in [name_f]English[/name_f], I can’t think of any negative connections at all. Radvin is super cool too.

Just saw [name_m]Arvin[/name_m] means “friend of the people” which is really gorgeous, so I think that’s the one I prefer

Thank you for your reply. I just wanted to make sure if I get it right, by ‘starvin’ you mean starving? or does it have another meaning?

Thank you for your reply. It is actually a Persian name but it seems it has a [name_m]German[/name_m] origin too with the meaning you mentioned.

Yes starving. It just popped in my head. It doesn’t really have any reference to anything.

I like the voting system you made, thank you, it’s interesting.

[name_m]Arvin[/name_m] is just like [name_m]Marvin[/name_m] without the M if I’m pronouncing it right. I really like it! Radvin is more strange sounding to my American ears but it’s a nice name with a lot of energy, maybe that’s the “Rad” part. I don’t associate either one with anything bad.

I find Radvin a bit harder to say. I like [name_m]Arvin[/name_m] though.
